It works well even with $50 per player. You would just have fewer payouts as the pool would be quite a bit smaller.
If I was going to do this I would also like to see high score combined for the two events paid out weekly. That could be cool to track for future reference as well.
I say tie these two mothers together! Agreed, I'd love to see a side game going with a $50-100 additional pay-in going for the best combined score among those in both contests.
One caveat, no one could be the primary owner on more than one team in each contest, and the primary owner must be named prior to the draft and couldn't be changed.

Greg...aren't you already working on a separate prize for the team that has the highest final score in the combined events (100% chance of payout), in addition to the large "bonus" prize being awarded in the less likely event that someone wins both contests?
I also like Rob's idea of a combined weekly score, whether it's funded as a player side bet or not.

Yeah, we'll have a prize for the top team that competes in both main events and hopefully a nice bonus for anyone who can win both (if it happens). I think Rob is adding another level just in case I don't come through!!

"2 Great Options for the Ultimate Fantasy Football Weekend"
"Ever dream of becoming a Millionaire? Why not do it by playing the game you love?!"
2 Great Events on 1 Super Site
IMO, I think it might be wise to combine the websites now. No need to fractionalize (Look at me, I used a big word ) the participants. I almost feel like I am zigging and zagging to catch all of the info. Again, just my $0.02

We've added two more participants to both events overnite as Mark Lally and Daryl Williams have decided to add the NBC Sports Fantasy Football Championship to their weekend of fun in Las Vegas, and Keith Carbone is adding both main events in Chicago. Keith is an NFFC veteran who is looking forward to the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader in Schaumburg. Thanks guys.

Niiiiiiiiice. A fellow Cheesehead is joining me in Las Vegas for the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader on Saturday, Aug. 30th as Eric Duerschmidt of Two Rivers, Wisconsin will be heading West this year. Welcome back to the NFFC Eric and best of luck in the hunt for the pair of $100,000 grand prizes and the $5,000 league prizes.

Cool, we added three more owners over the weekend who decided to add the NBC Sports Fantasy Football Championship main event to the NFFC, now giving us a total of 41 owners who already are doing both main events. This is going to be fun and it certainly makes the debut NBC Sports FFC a tough, tough challenge as some of our best NFFC players are already signed up for both.
Welcome aboard Danny Dietrick, Cal Suer and Scott Stauffer. That's a list of champions right there. Let's keep it going and see if anyone can actually challenge for both $100,000 grand prizes!!

Wow, we've added five more owners since last night who have added a main event and are now doing both events on Saturday, Aug. 30th. We now have 46 owners who are going to draft twice that day for two shots at $100,000. Pretty amazing and it's only early June. Thanks all. The response has been fantastic and we have more goodies to come.

Greg, I believe someone suggested this before, but I think it might be fun to list our name and Message Board name on our table placards and lanyards this year. I think it might help to get to know others and also help MB activity.
