Greg,

What's the bonus for doing the best in both contests? What's it based on total points? Thru what week 16? What does the person that finish last get?

John

John We haven't figured that prize out yet, but we will soon enough. We're still working on a sponsor for everything and we're in discussions with a few folks there. It's fun, but it takes time and if we get the right sponsor they may want to provide that prize. It will likely be total points because that's the most definitive measure of overall success.

Sorry, nothing for last. Anyone who plays both contests is a winner in my book, right? :D

Welcome Steve & Lewis Lightfoot to both events as we now have 47 owners competing in the NFFC and NBC Sports FFC main events. Man, this is going to be some fun. :D Greg, I believe someone suggested this before, but I think it might be fun to list our name and Message Board name on our table placards and lanyards this year. I think it might help to get to know others and also help MB activity.

$0.02
I don't know who the Message Board folks all are. I don't get that info when people sign up on the boards. So I think it's a good idea, but you folks will have to take the extra step to do that on Draft Day.
Looks like I may have to play in both, but it depends on how much the bonus is. 100K and I'm in, anything less and I may have to pass. :D
We'll have the $1 M bonus for winning both events. It's a done deal, just not officially. We have two sponsors interested in being part of it, so I don't have all the details worked out, but the insurance company has worked with me and I'll do it all on my own if I have to. But it will be more fun to announce this as part of a corporate involvement with all we're doing.

It's the best promotional idea I can come up and I'm going to do this. If that helps you jump back into the fire of the 14-team format, then I'm a happy man!!! :D Sorry about that John, but you'll be a better man for doing both!! :D

Again, details soon enough, just not now. But I'm not turning back on this one.

Gimme a break Snake.

I finished 2nd in my Main league for the 2nd year in a row, and in the top 15 OVERALL 2 years in a row. You can STILL make money finishing in 2nd place in almost every league. I still made more $$ than I invested last year, did you???

As for Paul's comment, I think he was referring to your dismal performance in 2006 when you were very close to finishing DEAD LAST in the Main event.
