Who Is Competing In Both Main Events?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Jul 31, 2008 2:27 am

Let's add team #105 to the NFFC's main event doubleheader as NFFC veterans Bradley Miller of Phoenix, Arizona and David Pope have grabbed a spot in the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main event in Las Vegas after already having an NFFC Classic main event team. Welcome aboard guys and good luck in the hunt for that $1 million bonus.

Chad and Eric Lundquist of Elk River, Minnesota have joined forces to become our 106th team to compete in both main events this year as they just added the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main event in Chicago to their weekend of fun. They have been in the NFFC Classic main event since 2004 and were already signed up for the Chicago main event and today they went for the second half of the doubleheader. Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for this year's pair of $100,000 grand prizes, pair of $5,000 league prizes and the $1 million bonus.

Wow, the NFFC die-hards are coming out in full force for both ends of the main event doubleheader this year as we now have 107 teams competing in both NBC Sports NFFC main events. Let's give it up for the tag team of Jim Pieper and Gary Magill of Longmont, Colorado as they will be joining us at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Aug. 30th for both big dances. I like it. Welcome guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prizes and the $1 million bonus.

hey greg or tom, will there be an overall standings, like in the main event,so the people playing in both events can see how there doing on a weekly basis... Just an update on this: STATS said today that this shouldn't be a problem and we'll provide this link within the STANDINGS link once we have the final list of participants. With 100+ participants already and likely 120+ when all is said and done, this is going to be a BLAST to watch how this one plays out. Good job all and thanks.

Greg,

What will the overall winner receive? If of course not 1 Million? :D

Of course it being a Olympic year, any way the top 3 can cash out? ;)

John Right now it's 2009 free entries into the NFFC main event and the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main event. I'm going to converse with NBC on this soon too and see if we can add to it with some other goodies.

We now have 109 NFFC members drafting on both ends of the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader on Saturday, Aug. 30th as we welcome two more NFFC and NFBC Original Members. Let's welcome Martin Bedell of Poughkeepsie, New York to both NBC Sports NFFC main events and Greg Morgan of Westerville, Ohio to both NFFC main events. Marty will be drafting in New York, while Greg is joining me at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Both added the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main events last night and we wish them both best of luck in the hunt for both $100,000 grand prizes, both $5,000 league prizes and the $1 million bonus.

We're now at 110 dual main event signups for the NBC Sports NFFC main events as we welcome Lynn Renfro of Fort Worth, Texas to the Las Vegas drafts. Lynn is a three-time winner of the AFFL contests who is going with a safer alternative in the NFFC. Welcome aboard Lynn and best of luck in the hunt for both $100,000 grand prizes, both $5,000 league prizes and the $1 million bonus.
