Just a thought:
I suggest doing a special live chat that focuses on the fence sitters sometime between now and Sunday. I know your newsletter just went out today, but I would send one more blast e-mail promoting a live chat for anyone with last minute questions. This may net another 5-6 teams.

Nathan, that's what these chats are for. We're here every day and Greg and I both have been on at night as well. We're here to answer any questions and we've had a large number of guests this week checking things out.

Just noticed in the newsletter that you were considering “possibly lowering the number of teams per league.”
My vote on that issue would be a big old NO. I’ve suffered through some 10 and 12 team leagues (my main local league is 16 teams.) I believe 14 is the ideal number and eliminates some of the “luck” factor that is present with deep FA pools. I actually really enjoy 16, as it enhances the value of the marginal players (nothing like having three starting RB’s when some teams are stuck with a true back-up as its 2nd RB.)

Faulk is a double-edged sword. If he performs very well and you burn a high pick on Jackson, you lose. If he gets hurt and Jackson performs well, you wasted a top 3 pick. If he gets hurt and Jackson stinks, you wasted a top 3 and a probable top 6 pick.
The only way you win is if he stays healthy, performs well and you didn't draft Jackson.
Not the kind of odds that I like.

Hello. My name is Lee Scoresby. I come from Texas, like flying hot-air balloons, being eaten by talking polar bears and fantasy football.

Nathan, nothing's been decided as to how we'll handle things if we come up with an uneven number. We're just tossing out ideas. We'll know more and make a final decision on Monday after all of the sign-ups are in.

I agree with you 100%, Ico. I certainly didn't like what I saw of the St. Louis O-line Monday night against last year's 4th worst defense.

If anyone on the fence is reading this, I hope they're seeing that this is probably the only place in all Big Fantasy Football events where the people running it are in a chat room to answer ANY question you have every day. There is a lot of competition in this field, and in a year or 2 there will only be a small handfull of leagues like this remaining. NFFC will be one of them.

Exactly. Forget Faulk and take S.Jackson in the 5th (at the latest).
