Frank Gore Or A Stud WR? What Says You?

In a DC I'd definitely take Gore understanding that quantity can mask quality at the WR position. In a non DC I'd be more inclined to go WR/WR, and would absolutely go that way if one of the WR's was R Moss.

Where it gets more interesting in my opinion is if those two WRs are off the board and you're looking at Wayne, Smith, Jennings, White or Boldin (however you have them ranked). I think those are the last of the stud WRs this year so the deliberation in my opinion comes down to taking Gore and one of those WRs or passing on Gore and taking two from that group.

Gore-white or Gore-wayne would be a nice start. If Calvin or moss were there I would take them over Gore.

What Says I:

Classic: Gore/Wayne (50/50 on a top RB lasting to Pick #29)

Primetime: Wayne/Calvin (almost assured of getting a premier RB at Pick #25)

In my opinion, the 4 pick spread makes all the difference in the world

I like Gore/WR assuming it's Calvin or better. For me that start gives me more flexibility to take the best available later on. Now if Andre/Fitz came my way......

Wayne
