Invitational Draft Order Announced

Okay, we have announced the first draft order ever on our NFFC boards and it's not even an NFFC-sanctioned event!!! 14 owners have thrown $100 into a pot for the chance to win a free NFFC entry in 2005 and will play out the league on the NFFC site, but outside of the NFFC settings. It's a private league that will create some unique banter on these boards.

The official selections were made by Tom Kessenich, so bitch at him if you don't like where you're drafting.

We used a Bryant Powerboats hat sent to us by Joe Bryant of footballguys.com for this very scientific process, the hat was raised exactly 6'6" so that it was exactly 8 inches above Tom's head and the paper used for the names was on a yellow Staples notepad. Tom was sipping a Diet Coke at the time of the selections. There, now you have the gorey details. Sound good?

5. Ico
6. KJ Duke
7. Jason E.
8. Gekko
9. Don Thompson
10. Scarecrow
11. Joe Fitzpatrick

14. JSF

Keep the banter of this league on this thread or if you have new topics keep them on their separate threads. Not everyone wants to be inundated with the Invitational talk since only 14 guys are involved, but right now I think we'd all like to hear about your draft positions! Hell, I think a few folks are envious as everyone is itching to draft. All of the NFFC leagues and draft orders should be posted on Monday night, Aug. 30th or Tuesday morning, Aug. 31st at the latest. Have fun everyone and may the best man win.

#10 is just fine for me. Don't have that long wait coming back in the 2nd round. I wonder though if that email I sent Greg about Gordon stomping and pouting if he got something past #8 had any bearing on Gordon getting #8.

Hmm, #2...Who will Appleman give me...LT or Priest? Either way, can live with that.

By the way guys, the Yahoo site will say the draft order will be set shortly before draft time. We can't change that until everybody has joined the Yahoo league. Gordon will be sending out the email with the Yahoo league details. Sign up ASAP so we can set the draft order there.

Suggest you start with the team names above to make setting the order easy. You can change your names after that, if you like.
