Whether or not the comments in this thread have merit this discussion cannot help the NFFC. There have always been inappropriate remarks on this board among a minority of posters. Complaints and concerns of this type should be directed to management through non public channels to be dealt with in the appropriate manner. If you care about the future of the NFFC you will encourage Greg to delete this thread and handle this privately with the injured and the abusers. To continue this here would be selfish. The problem here is that people (Greg said that there are many more complaints about this individual than any other) have complained about this one particular person's behavior and nothing has changed. Why would anyone think that something would get accomplished by continued complaints??

As for the whole "free speech" thing... gimme a break!

-You can't go on an airplane and yell "bomb"

-You can't call the President and say you are thinking of assassinating him.

-I can't walk into the NFFC on draft day and say I am concealing a weapon and if anyone takes my pick in the 4th round, I am gonna kill them.

The "free speech card" is a way for those who NEVER take accountability to THINK they have an "out" when things get heated.

The only thing that is ever going to change here is that many are going to quit posting/turned off from playing. It is quite obvious that this is a "big game" for this one person, and when they KNOW there aren't going to be consequences, do you really believe THEY are going to change??? (especially when they pride themselves in being someone who is "different" and "love to see how far they can push the envelope"?)

Sorry for the rant Greg and Tom, but GOOD customers with a lot of knowledge and things to offer are going to be turned off, and in the end that hits you guys in the pocket.

Which is a shame, because you guys run a first class event and your customer service sets the bar in this industry, IMO. :D

Good luck to everyone today! :D

Let's say I operate a sports bar. A guy walks in off the street dressed like some kind of animal, perhaps a serpent. He sits down at the bar and starts talking with a hissing sound.

Then he starts insulting the other patrons in a way that he thinks is funny. They don't think its funny. A few people leave. Others walking by, look in, see this guy, then keep on walking to the bar next door. Do I have the right to ask this guy to talk and act like a normal person or leave? Or would I be infringing on his free speech?

This IS the front window to Greg's store.

This IS the front window to Greg's store. I love the drink specials Duke, and the grill is top notch. Much better than the bar across the street. When the hissing guy starts to yammer I ignore him and watch the game. I don't even know he's there actually. What's so bleepin' hard about that ????

[/QUOTE]Personally, I'm just tired of his whole act. I'm not easily offended by standup comics at clubs - IF they're funny. Ever see an act that tried to be funny but just came off rude, and people walked out? I have, and I've done it.

Three guys I met in Vegas last draft told me they don't frequent the MB because of him, that doesn't include any of the people here that speak out publically. Glenn's character is bad for business.

Q - some people can and do ignore him, I did for a long time. Some people would rather just go down the street than deal with him. The question isn't can you ignore him, it is do you ignore him if he drives away business?
