Oh well, I'm still liking my team.
Now here's someone who sees the glass as half full!! (or maybe he's just blind )
Ben is out for at least the first 5 weeks, even if he behaves himself, and then depending on how the Steelers are faring he may not start immediately. Campbell, unless he gets traded and even then it might be questionable, won't be playing and Hasselbeck could very likely lose his stareting position to Whitehurst. It doesn't seem likely that Seattle's new regime, which has zero invested in Matty, traded a high draft choice and spend a lot of money on a guy they don't intend to play.
So, right now you may not have a QB and you still like your team. Ahhhh...you gotta love the FF optimist.
Although when you made the choices, I'd have also liked them. But I sure wouldn't like them today. Yeah, it's fun drafting in the dark.
I should have elaborated a bit, Riff..
I like my team EXCEPT my QB's.
That being said, the best DC players I know (Mike Ferre and Darryl Lechniak) went 8 weeks with a ZERO at QB and still won their $650 DC league. Sure that is an exception, but I don't see me getting 8 weeks of 0's either.
I love my core of RB's, WR's, and have 2 solid TE's. I'm OK with all of it right now. I think there are a few teams in a whole lot worse shape than me.

NFFC Trendsetters League: Setting The Trend
When I click on Jules' site for the Trendsetters story, I only get the stories for Rounds 6-10 now. Can anyone send me the exact URL for the first 5 rounds again? I'll grab some second round comments then if you can. Thanks as I'm struggling to find the same content from the Comments link that Dave sent me yesterday.

Greg,
I just went to the site and the first 5 rounds are gone. Hopefully Rob kept it because it is no longer there.

Greg,
I posted Phase 4 last night and now think there must be some sort of limit on the thread as Phase 1 dropped off after 4 was posted.
I have a call into the boss. Yo Jules!

I e-mailed our tech guy to get this fixed. Of course, he's in Sweden right now, so there is a time difference.
The entry and comments are still on our server.

The entry and comments are still on our server. Sweden? With the ash problems, he should be back in 2012. Wow.
Okay, I'll hold off on Round 3 until I can post the Round 2 comments. I think the comments are just as important as the results and we have some time for this. Let me know via email when they are live again and I'll post the most interesting comments/picks. Then Round 3 will come.
As for the NFFC web site, Ryan is finishing up on the locations and contests and sites and all the rest now. In fact, he's in New York now for meetings and I think we solidified our NY location. Should be fun once again in the Big Apple and our baseball location in Las Vegas appears to be secured for football. Rob gave me a good idea for Chicago as we will check that out first before finalizing a boring convention center. Both would work, but Rob's idea is better!!
And then maybe some other surprises. Stay tuned.
