Sounds like a blocking strategy, perhaps someone he is battling is QB deficient due to Injuries. Not a bad move if that's the case and he was loaded with FA dollars...

The Miami and Oakland situations are a bit fluid right now, so completely understandable to carry both. Hill and Anderson aren't locks to finish the year as starters, either.

Looks like the ultimate QBBC -- makes perfect sense!

I'll go over the thought process again - I briefly touched on that on the league MB.

I woke up Sunday with 1 stud (Stafford) and 2 serviceable backups (Henne and Gradkowski). I went to bed Tuesday with nothing. I awoke again Wednesday needing quarterbacks. Lots of them.

So I grabbed S.Hill ($87) dumping Julius Jones. I had Hill earlier in the season but he broke a forearm and became a drop. Everyone says he's nothing special but he does chuck it a lot and has good weapons.

But will he start Sunday for sure? Stay healthy? Who knows. So I need insurance. In comes D.Anderson for $37 dumping Stafford. The team already went thru Max Pain so DA should keep the job for a bit. A couple of take it to the house wr's so he's starter worthy

What to do with Henne? He has great wideouts but no job. He had a couple of decent gms but maybe he really does suck. So in comes Pennington for $7 dropping Gettis. I think Penn will do pretty well actually. The accurate short game is his shtick and he has the horses to excel there.

I still like Gradkowski though. With Louis and Miller back, Ford emerging, he could be a decent 22pt qb in a pinch. I like Grad, the head coach likes Grad but Davis likes Campbell. So we were outvoted. All aboard the SS Campbell for $2 dropping Karim.

The thing is the team has a pulse - it's currently 36 overall so I had to go hog wild to replenish inventory.

Next week I add Brad Smith for WR/RB/FLEX depth

and a record breaking (Guinness confirms this) 7TH QB !!!

Your record speaks (volumes) for itself. You owed no explanation. Many will watch this closely and probably try to copy in the future, although not me. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Snake try it in his Super (that he rarely talks about).

but I doubt this will be emulated - don't try this from home, professional driver on a closed course ! I simply had no options so I threw it all at wall to see what would stick. It's not the most optimal position allocation

Q, how do you expect to defend your NFBC title working this hard on football?

I thought you were doing NFFC just to bide your time until baseball comes around. Now it looks like you are putting in hours of in-season work for a crazy game like football. And you're probably doing that for 6-10 teams!!

Something tells me this won't interrupt your baseball preparation, but I love the explanation. And the sad thing is that the whole process makes sense. Only you could do that. Congrats on a great baseball season and continued good luck in football. You have some teams that could bring home the bacon and this Classic team has a shot at the incredible double-double national title (NFBC/NFFC).

Keep it up.

By the way, I just posted your NFBC Main Event draft. You sure didn't miss much on 30 picks. Good job.

I'm in Stephen's Classic league and anything he does has me worried. The guy is a top contender in this contest and is top ranked in others I've seen that Im playing in. Look for me to try to secure 7 QB's next week as a result!

Opps I have Stephen confused with another competitor. My bad...regards he is on my heels in this Classic so Im still worried as I limp to the finish line.

All I know is I can't make the right call choosing between two qb's, six would make my head explode lol.
