Odds to win NFFC overall Contest

Post by Ted's Cracked Head » Tue Aug 05, 2008 9:00 am

We know I am a Raiders fan. My Lamonica photo travels to all drafts and guides me. That is why I have always taken my 4th wr before before my 3rd RB, he is pass crazy. The Mad Bomber. That was going to be my team name but since I am a disgruntled former Federal employee, I thought that might attract too much attention.

Go Raiders! (go get favre)
My mama says she loves me but she could be jiving too! BB King

Seriously though, here is what I propose.

Anyone who plans on playing here for the next 5 years can get in on this.

We each put 200-500 into the pot and it's held by a third party in an interest bearing account.

We each play in the NFFC and NBC Main events for the next five years.

Total points over 5 years, winner take all!

I would be ok with a few payouts if we had 10 or more.

Once you put your cash in, it is stuck. If you play four years, TS. No refunds. No excuses. No crying!

Whose the best over the NEXT 5 years starting in 3 weeks?

1. TCH I like this idea, but why not go year to year? There's over a 100 guys doing both, who ever wants to puts up 100.00 top 3 payout.
How's that sound?

John

P.S.Funny I was going to post this same thing.

rob - keep spending your times on silly bets and not on improving your fantasy football IQ.
snake - keep going "profitless" for another year.
gg - keep winnings leagues (regardless of what type of leagues they are).

we can all continue to play our part and meet up here next year. same time. same place.
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

The only person on here that can speak about consistency of chance to win is BillyWaz.

I'm hoping to make the championship round this year again and hopefully have another chance at the 100k. But as the NFBC has shown me this year that you never know what can happen and you need a lot of breaks to go your way. We will see what happens this year. All I know is that I cannot wait till draft day.

Go Getta,

There is another team just as consistent if not more than Billy Waz.

We have four years of NFFC data so far, that is enough to at least show some trends. However, unless you won the 100k or you an owner wants to toot his own horn, there is no easy way to look an owners resume. Just a bunch of blow hards on a message board.

Can we please get a career earnings list on the main page. Throw out the 100k winners. The next five to ten on the list is who I would give the best odds to.

GG had them 50:1

Two Top Ten Finishes
Two Main Event Championships
Four Draft Master Championships
One Auction Championship
Second Place in an Ultimate Event
Top Ten in Lifetime Scoring

They just don't talk alot on the boards.
But I think they know what they are doing.

But I think they know what they are doing. I agree, if you are talking about the most consistent/best teams out there, they MUST be mentioned. I am really looking forward to going against them in the DC in Vegas (and maybe the Main Event too if we happen to get in the same league! )
