SNAKEtakes for 2007 NFL Playoffs

OK, a game and a half are in the books but my pick'em and playoff contests support my picks of Seattle & Jacksonville.

Week 1
Seattle over Washington (you can't anyone by surprise in a playoff game)
Jacksonville over Pittsburgh (PIT not healthy enough, Jags as good as anyone right now)
Tampa over NY Giants (I don't believe in Eli)
San Diego over Tennessee (could be a blowout)

Week 2
Green Bay over Seattle (similar teams, but in GB and R Grant make the difference)
Dallas over Tampa (TB not good enough)
New England over Jacksonville (though I hope otherwise, and it should be close)
San Diego over Indy (Marvin less than 100% could spell trouble)

Week 3
Dallas over Green Bay (great matchup, but Dallas too much)
New England over San Diego (as far as SD can go with Rivers)

Super Bowl
Dallas over New England (they've nearly lost too many times; finally the Pats lose, assuming the Dallas D is healthy)

Interesting note about the Jags-Steelers line...

Last line I saw before kickoff was Jax -2 1/2.

A lot of disappointed people who placed their bets on the Jags today!

Even so, kicking the extra point probably results in an overtime game.

If Pittsburgh hadn't stopped Garrard on the 32 ytard scramble, would Garrard have been smart enough to pull a Westbrook?
