Ongoing NFFC Mock Draft
Where do you feel is my poor showing? George was a gamble pick. bit he will play and he will start somewhere. I like all my other picks.
But talk about rosters, dude, you did as I expected you to.... Not very well. Unproven QBs, One good RB in Alexander, I was hoping he'd drop to me. ok WRs (Ward with a rookie QB) and Robinson (2 SEA players vying for TDs). TE- Good there. DEF- should have only drafted one. They both stick. K-Pretty Good.
I haven't done a break down yet, I'll get to that soon. Bt right now, I see you middle of the pack only if you QBs can perform.
I did make a mistake by saying you were on auto, you were on predraft. My apologies for that. I was just glad I didn't have to wait 3+ minutes for you to move your butt and draft

People like Favre move up in the rankings, not Vick. You still have time to figure out the other spots where you went wrong. Good luck!

Care to place a wager on that? My team performs better than the median team given DM scoring, I win.

I'll weigh in on this discussion. Speed does not equate to good drafting. For me, the decision making involves my valuations at each position, the number of players that will be drafted at each position before my next pick and the maximum value to my team as a whole of my pick, not necessarily "best available". This all takes a little time. The decision making takes about a minute and that stupid site doesn't allow picks to be made in much less than a minute with all those screens.
That all being said, Gordon had, by far, the worst draft. The first 3 picks were fine, taking 2 RBs and a WR. But then Gordon waited until round 7 to get RB3, and that player is M. Faulk's backup. This means that unless Faulk gets hurt, M. Alstott will be Gordon'e bye week RB and Gordon will never have a RB at the flex.
With his RB picks, Gordon should have realized he needed 4 good WRs. He took 3 but then chose to take Alstott and Lamont Gordon before taking his 4th WR. Both of these guys would be available much later. Meanwhile, he will be starting David Givens every week and will be bye filling with 2 even weaker WRs.
Lastly, somehow with all this mediocre picking, Gordon chose to take his QBs late and wound up with 2 below average(fantasy wise) QBs.
All in all, a bad showing and likely a last place record for that league.
Vegas, on the other hand, did a good job and has a competitive team. The best team, of course, is mine.

Go ahead, start Alstott. Coming off a neck injury, how many carries do you expect him to get behind Garner and Pittman (after 3 game suspension)? TB is even talking about given Antwain Smith a try.
Garner is the clear #1. Go ahead, slot Alstott as your flex, that will do well.

More importantly, the top point winner goes to the championship round along with the best record. That makes worrying about 1 bad bye week less critical. Don't change your draft just to cover a bye.
