Snakie is caught in the middle of yet ANOTHER unscrupulous scandal? How shocking!!

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time, again and again and again....

A. Other than "common courtesy" there's nothing in the rules stating I can't tell Snake every pick. I OBVIOUSLY wouldn't do that, but it is a free country, so I could if I wanted to. you need to take your own advice when considering giving folks the draft results for a league others have paid for..."So please try to start trouble elsewhere."

if you plan on giving away the draft results, i'm sure greg could easily replace you now. i hope you would respect the privacy of others. thanks.
While I agree that posting the draft results on the MB would be a bit much, I don't understand why there are so many paranoid owners IN JUNE!!!!

Doesn't everyone agree that all of the "better players" pretty much know most of the same information anyhow??? Sure, we all have our "breakout players" and preferences, but there will be so much that changes between now and June (especially draft positions, as NO ONE will draft almost ANY of the same players from a top 3 spot, that they will from an 11-14 spot).

To use Gekko as an example from last year, there was the post where he told DYV "to not even think about taking Barlow in the 4th round of their draft (was it the Ultimate) (or something along those lines.

Then in the Main, he takes Barlow at 3.4!

Some of the people who say "well I don't want to give away my draft strategy" need to get off their "high horse", as who says your strategy is the best?? For example, if I would have been in Vegas 1, and Gekko would have told me he was taking Barlow at 3.4 right before the draft, I would have simply chuckled to myself, and thought "that is good for me"! That certainly wouldn't have changed my strategy ONE BIT, as I wouldn't touch have touched Barlow UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES before the last 3 picks in round 3 last year. (Not picking on you Gekko, just using you as an example :D )

The point is almost everyone has the "smoke and mirrors" on HIGH all preseason, and injuries, people getting demoted, etc. will change draft sheets EVERYWHERE before September 2nd. SO WHY THE PARANOIA????

RC has nailed it on the head, as he said there is/are no ONE or TWO players in any draft that are capable of screwing up an individual's draft, so he tells EVERYONE who he is taking!!!

The night of the magazine draft, he told me exactly who his top 3 picks would be if they were there, and he followed it TO A TEE!

Gotta respect that! :D

hey fox mulder - no one is paranoid. you obviously don’t know what you are talking about. There are MANY valid reasons why to keep the results private. If you don’t know what they are, too bad. You didn’t pay, so you don’t get to see. Sorry.

If I want to share the draft results for MY team, then that is ok.

Now stop being so jealous your not in the league. Thanks.

I agree with GG here as this league's draft results need to be kept within the league owners. Those putting up the money to play need to be the beneficiaries of any info or strategy gained from a June draft. Those who share that info are idiots, period.

Here's the main reason all of this discussion is for nothing:

After the draft everyone will want to talk about it on the MB (their own teams especially)

Since it's June and there's really nothing else to do except analyze draft data...I suspect the MB will be littered with enough info from our draft that any nit wit could piece the facts together.

Maybe I'm wrong but that's pretty much been the standard for 2 years now after any draft.

yes, people may want to talk about their own picks (me included), but others may not. it's important to respect their privacy as well
If no one is paranoid, how can you explain all of the paranoia surrounding a simple joke?? I believe you and Johnny ARE paranoid or you wouldn't have said what you did regarding this blown-out-of-proportion subject. No one gives a s**t who you guys draft, most owners like to see results to see players values, not to copy a players draft. Why would anyone copy from draft results unless they were going to copy off of last years champ?? "Hey, RI didn't win last year, but let me copy from his draft so I can fail to." Doesn't make any sense. Seriously, Johnny, you should try to get out of this mindset. Try to realize this is constructive criticism, nothing else my friend.

GG so if there are many valid reasons to keep results private, what gives you the right to display your drafted team? If every person decided to go against these so-called valid reasons and post their team, the draft results WOULD be made public. I thought you had to pay to see results??

I remember this year Eddie posted about 4-5 players he drafted for a NFBC satellite and people FREAKED OUT. A 1/5 of his team he revealed and people thought this wasn't right. You better be careful if you are going to reveal your team, I might have to run to Greg like a pre-schooler....plus, we don't want you getting black-balled!
