Bingo Frank! I knew someone would ask if I was categorizing Jacobs as "good" (which I'm not). But I do think that the Giants will give them a game, and that Jacobs, at 6-4/264, could bang in a short TD or two. The Niners do have a very good D, but I'm hoping it is perhaps a bit overrated, based on who they've faced:

1. Lynch (5-11/215). SEA sucks
2. Jones (5-10/217) ran for 9/25, and Murray (6-0/227) for 6/21, with both Jones and Romo pretty seriously hurt. Romo threw for 345 yards.
3. Benson (5-11/227), with rookie QB Dalton, in his 3rd start, throwing for a 40.8 passer rating
4. Vick ran for 8/75 and McCoy (5-11/208), 9/18. Vick threw for over 400 yards
5. Blount (6-0/247) and Graham (5-9/225) only 64 yards combined. Freeman was terrible: 17/33, 187, 0, 2
6. Best (5-10/199) and Morris (5-11/216) just rushing for 57 yards combined. Stafford threw for almost 300 yards.

8. Ogbonnaya (6-0/225) and my Browns suck
9. Helu (5-11/219) only had 41 rushing yards, but went off for 14/105 receiving

So no, I sure don't expect Jacobs to run for over 100 yards. And honestly, there's a little wishful thinking on my part.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Eli can move the ball well enough for Jacobs to get maybe 70 yards rushing and 4-6 screens for another 30 yards - and a TD (or two? ).

Pettigrew or Avant There is a lot of wind in the midwest today. It could have an adverse effect on a number of passing games.

I have Foster, and with AJ out, I'm leaning towards Tate
