It is extremely difficult to create, and varies week to week.
It is also something that can be abused via collusion.
Example...drop the best player NOT listed, so the team with the most money can grab him...repeat the following week with the new list.
If you create a list like this...it's either too biased on past names or present performances, or it's a STUD list (which Eli would not have made) and is logically not needed, or it's a giant list with all players listed toward the bottom of each position being debatable.
JMO.
~Lance When I start agreeing with everything Lance says, then I know it's been a long day. It must be cocktail hour in Wisconsin on a Saturday afternoon, right Lance? Yikes!!
I just posted what you did in the first paragraph. I understand why folks want such a list, but honestly I don't think it's the best policy for the contest. There are reasons why some folks are dropped and why some folks risk a lot of FAAB on underperforming "stars." It's part of the in-season game.

Now let's all get back to winning our "own" league titles and finding a way to make it into the Championship Round.

Week 6 Drops
I am the guy who both dropped AND picked up David Garrard the next week. I considered it a calculated risk, but did it anyway. Tampa League 1 is competetive and well rounded, so I feel lucky to get him back.
It's my 40th Birthday, so I considered it a gift.

Week 6 Drops
Again, back to my one post in this thread. Maybe we can use this, and this thread, as an opportunity to put high level fantasy football minds together to help come up with rule ideas for this going forward.
Fantasy football (just like NFL football) is a constant work in progress to chase that elusive goal of being a perfect competition/league/event/
This could be something where Greg/Tom put together some kind of NFFC committee where there would be votes on the VERY OCCASIONAL circumstances where something like this comes up. Maybe a random mix of experienced NFFC regulars and some new owners plus Tom/Greg and some fantasy staffers. Who knows, I am just throwing stuff out there before I go give a golf lesson...lol

Just use the BCS computer to determine the value of each player and who should be dropped from the FA list. I'm sure that it will be available after this college season at bargain basement prices!

SIX (or maybe 7 by now) pages about the acquisition of one of the most overrated, over-hyped, overvalued, overestimated, overblown, in over-his-head NFL QB's to come down the pike in years.
It's funny what a "name" does for some people, especially those thrown into a huge media market. Take away Plaxico and you're looking at a David Carr...maybe.
