Live Scoring Windows = Memory/CPU Hogs

Post by Sandman62 » Sun Sep 12, 2010 1:50 pm

I have 3 of them opened at a time. Each one consumes over 200mb of memory and routinely hogs 40-70% of my CPU. I know my laptop's a couple years old, but it's an Intel 5500 1.67ghz w/ 2gb of RAM. These apps shouldn't be such resource hogs, IMO. Hopefully, Tom or Greg will see this and pass it along to their IT guys. I also concur with others' suggestions in another thread to please provide a Team Summary app to view all of our leagues with scoring at once. Far too much hopping around windows is necessary to open several leagues to view.

But so far, it looks like the important stuff - the scores - is working great guys. Well done Fanball IT. The rest is cosmetic fluff next to that, but would still be appreciated if you could consider. Thanks.

I agree, bring back the old page from last year. It is a huge resource drain and if you're in multiple leagues, its utterly impossible to have multiple windows open without crashing your system.

The 3 windows I had open are now up to 300, 350 and 415mb, and another one is 189mb. This needs to be addressed.
