GEKKO Invitational

Greg,
Any thoughts on having a GEKKO Invitational league. 1 league; 14 teams; draft after the Sat main draft. I've got a few people in mind. Give all these bloats a chance at me. Something low to keep it real, $100 entry, winner gets a free entry into next year's NFFC and bragging rights.

You told me to get a poker tournament going after the draft!!! Actually, there will be plenty of time between the NFFC draft on Sept. 4th and poker on Saturday night if you're interested. If you let me sell tickets for the fight that ensues between you and Vegas Gamblers, I'll keep the room open and increase the price of beers.

I'll provide the space in the room and a stat service. You provide the fireworks.

Uh oh... happiness overload. The question is, will Gekko show, or wil one of his peeps represent?

I would like an invitation as long as it will not conflict with any of the scheduled events for Friday or Saturday, if I am invited we should make the entry $150 and hire $700 worth of Topless facilitators and do this thing up right like Gordon Gekko would.
Going for the Quadruple Crown!!!
Draft Champion, Auction, Main Event and Ultimate.

I hate to ask what $700 worth of topless facilitators would add up to... not to mention Vega$ Gambler$ would be so busy with lapdance he wouldn't draft ;0

I'm working on a game plan for the GEKKO Invitational.

As I said in another post, I'm unsure if Vegas will work for TEAM GEKKO. In addition, spending another 3-4 hours drafting for a “small $ league” (after everyone has already sat through the DM, Auction, and main draft) isn’t really a valuable way to spend our time.

I'm thinking about having the GEKKO Invitational done on the message board on the Tuesday or Wednesday after the draft. This will help to relieve post-draft depression. More details to come...
