Overall Standings (Week 11)

Dyv, as soon as you told Tom to get in there and fight, he suckerpunched me in the back. Then I threw water at him and both of us went into the next cubicle and fought some dweeb who looked at us wrong. Tom picked up a chair and swung it at our publisher, Dean Listle, and I went after the FSX girls (but not to fight), who happened to be visiting our offices today. It got ugly and it all started thanks to you, a Pistons' fan, egging Tom to get in there and fight. :D

Thanks. :D

Were the overall standings real-time at any point this year? If not, I'll request that for 2005. Awesome! Who tossed the beer? I've got Dean down for that one, but only because I know Greg wouldn't throw a 1/2 full beer and Tom never has anything but an empty cup in his hand ;)

The overall standings were never 'real-time' but up until about 2 weeks ago they did update for Monday AM to show partial stats before the Monday night game.

Gekko,
It looks like we got the schedule break. We played you and Steel City with no backs. Varmit won't have Duce and it appears Chris Brown should be back, but you never know in this game. I can't wait until baseball!!

Dyv, nobody from Wisconsin throws beers away. Not even Dean.

Shawn, sorry, I'm not the deer hunting type. If I want meat on the table for my family, I'll go down to the store and buy it. Plus I just don't look good in blaze orange. Tom and I aren't the hunting types. Hell, I'm so out of step around here that I put salt blocks out for the deer and I have a big pond that they come back and drink from. I had 12 deer in the backyard this morning as those dumb deer knew they could take refuge at ol' Greg's house during hunting season.

Updated overall standings before the Monday Night game then it is. I'll talk to STATS about this tomorrow and see if we can get this going for next week and the playoffs. Ask and you shall receive......I hope.

Yeah, Tom producing a rap album. Now that's a good one. He can't even carry a tune across the street, which is probably perfect for making a rap album. Get down, TK, get down!!!

Here's the answer I got from STATS pending Greg's further discussions with them: "the standings are coded to run for final weeks because win/loss records get updated at that time. we also allow for corrections to sunday game stats on
monday, so it's possible that the points could change during the day. i'll see if we can do just the points update and not the win/loss, but i think that people see standings as somewhat final and this might depart from that."

Contrary to what he thinks, we will all be able to comprehend that MNF is yet to play and we won't be departing from that concept.
