Absolutely not RI. But that is an extreme example. Listen, I am not in favor of one over the other, but rather taking both at equal value. The same "luck" that I hear everyone rant about in regards to Head-to-Head matchups, is the same "luck" that can be used as an example of those teams who drop an incredible amount of points in 2-3 games throughout the season, which causes their Total Points to shoot up, when they are really nothing more than about a 500% team. Using a similar example as yours, should the team that goes 11-2, with 1300 Total Points, be left out of the playoffs in favor of a team that goes 8-5, but has 1400 Total Points? How do you not take both record and points into equal account? I'm telling you, I am more scared of the team that I know will drop 145 every week, than the team who drops 170 this week, but 98 the next week.
