Having great grandparents from Ireland makes it have a "special place" in my heart. Damn Irish coming over a creating the ghettos! I did some "research" on the 5 points after watching that, man what a mess that area was, I think the movie does a good job in potraying how bad it of an area it was during that time.

Jules, you've hit a nerve with me. The Wizard Of Oz is my all-time favorite movie and one that I've watched more than 100 times. I still cry everytime Dorothy says to the Scarecrow at the end, "And I think I'll miss you most of all, Scarecrow!"

Okay, I'm leaning towards it for our 2006 competition. Someone needs to hit one more soft spot on me and it's a deal. :D

Greg being carried off the field !

My mind is made up. Go get 'em everyone.

I'm not sure if anyone touched base on this subject, but since this thread is about possible changes in the NFFC next year...

Would it be possible to add decimals to the free agent bids? I can't see this being too hard to change...There aren't many ties for bids, but since we use decimal scoring, why not just use decimals while bidding for free agents?

Thanks.

Wow! Changing things in mid-season. Greg, I think we should only use 1 RB. It's not fair to all owners to play 2 RB's each week. Hopefully a couple of "regulars" agree with me on this and it'll get changed. Unreal.

In a less sarcastic manner, I will agree with GG that I don't think there should be ANY changes made to the contest after the year starts - whether it is payouts or scoring changes, everybody drafted knowing the rules and they should remain as they were posted for this season.

Q, I love the pun on my team name...LMAO

But .99 would be far to easy.../// .57 or something like that would be more likely just to differ from other bids...

We use decimal scoring. We use decimal bidding for draft spots, when applicable. Why not throw the decimals in the free agent bidding? I can't see how this could hurt anything. I'm sure there will be someone that says "change is bad"...but this is more of an adjustment than a change.

And just to be specific, my post above read "next year". Just to keep my post clear on where I stand. I'm sure Daniels25 is referring to earleir posts by other members, but I'm covering my bases to make sure my point is being passed on correctly.
