Yes Fish, OOPS actually makes the lizard seem like a kid, I actually had the 'pleasure' of sitting next to him (when he wasn't running up and down the rows) and witnessed his battle with security to let him in to the event...lol. No wonder I chose Martin, my concentration was shot lol.

In 2002, we drafted 6th overall....that summer, Dr. Fisher and I decided we wanted Priest in the 1st round when Priest was just an alter boy....we travelled 2500 miles to Vegas (K of Q probably could give me accurate mileage of Smithtown, NY to Vegas, Nevada) just to have Texas Heat take him 5th overall...

We had to "settle" for a 2nd year guy who is known as the moniker - LT2

LOL, OOPS actually still does appear under a number of monikers after Lenny banned numerous of his names for various transgressions. I recall one person claiming they were being threatened IRL after the MB got a bit heated...yeah I think having him over here would definately give folks a whole new perspective on being a lil off center.

That original League 11 of ours really had some quality gamers that still are doing well across the events including Texas Heat. We should form a reunion...

BTW Billy, I gotta give ya props for risking the wrath of the Fantasy GODS for the idea, it is a great one but I wonder how many of us (Not I) would have actually had the cajones to suggest it to greg while seriously in the running for the prize. I would figure if I tried it, my entire backfield would get injured in practice...oh um yeah, half of it already did... As I mentioned before Bongizmo, I have thought that the total points leader shoud receive some question BEFORE I even officially signed up for the NFFC (after reading the rules).

I believe in karma, but this is my 20th year of playing this game and outside of the draft, waivers, and roster management we have ZERO control on what happens on the field each weekend!

It bothers me when I hear people say, "your team choked!" Yea... like I was at practice all week with ALL of my guys, and I am the one who didn't get them ready to play!

Basically, my luck could take a turn for the worse, but I believe in "making your own luck". Everything else is out of my (and everyone else's) control.

Very true and well said and good luck on leading this wire to wire for we of the Chicago crew, your fast start has indeed been impressive! Here's hoping we get to both meet in the playoffs...

As for me winning it this year, I certainly am not counting on it. As for bad karma, I have Brian Westbrook.

That stomach ulcer started the minute his name slipped from my mouth. ;) You misunderstood me, Billy. I never insinuated that you boasted about being 1st overall. But, if you choose to, you have full dispensation on that when speaking to a certain reptile who's in the process of swallowing his own tail right now.

As for Westy, don't worry 'bout a thing. Once Fat Andy gets out of his mysterious "Belichick" antics with the injury report, 36West will be a major contributor to keeping you on top.

Good luck.
