The problem with Mock drafts is...they are not real. This would be even more of a problem if it was conducted by participants who do not want to expose their true "sleepers" and such.
But, here is an idea!
Make the mock draft real and binding! Look, these guys are getting a free shot right. Make the mock draft its own league with binding results! These owners could always purchase a second team (or you could require it). Now, that would be a mock draft that I would pay attention to...knowing that these are "actual" teams that I would be competing with (although not in the same league). What do you think?
Plus....I (of course) should be one of the teams. Why? Because, I'm smart enough, I'm good enough, and gosh darn it...people like me!

I find it humorous that people are "pimping" themselves out to be one of the "writers" Greg has been talking about. There were a handful of us this past offseason doing exactly what Greg was talking about, FOR FREE. Of course Snake already mentioned this, but alas, he forgot to include my name, one of his most loyal comrades on the mb's.
Anyways, we diehards will be here during the offseason, regardless...pay or no pay because we love the game! You diehards know who you are, no need to mention any names.
BTW, I imagine part of the criteria for being one of the "writers" is knowing how to spell the players names correctly, this automatically eliminates at least a 1/3 of the folks on here.

I never said anything about writing! I have already established that I specialize in "the worthless". I was merely "pimping" myself for a slot in the mock draft and a free entry! I was recommending myself not on merit (no chance there), but rather on my charm (let me be real clear here....this is a sarcastic sentiment) and the old fashioned American ethic of the first to ask...gets in!!!!
