Question about the finals

Post by Admiral » Thu Nov 30, 2006 5:41 am

I am in Chicago League 4, Tablers Elite, do I make it into the finals if I am in the top 32 overall points? I won't be the top in my league in record or points, but possibly still in the top 32. I thought I read somewhere that this is the case.

After being second overall after week eight I am still hoping to back in after four dismal weeks.

After being second overall after week eight I am still hoping to back in after four dismal weeks. Two teams from each league automatically get into the Championship Round: the h2h champion and total points winner. Then wild cards are given to any team in the top 10% of total points (32 of 322 teams) who didn't finish first or second in their league. When all is said and done, we may have 50 teams vying for the $100,000 grand prize. Good luck this week.

Thanks,
I would feel better about my chances if I had played Brandon Jacobs last week instead of Santana Moss, a fifteen point difference. I have been kicking myself all week. I also wish I still had McNabb. Rivers put up a stinker. Arghh! I could go on and on.

Does anyone else feel this way?

To build on Q's comment, you are not backing in to the championship round. Your team has been there all year and is why the NFFC decided to reward consistent teams who "belong" in the Championship Round with the 10% rule. Good Luck and it looks like I could be joining you in the 10% group.
