any insight into if this functionality will be possible this year Yeah, let me ask STATS about this again. I know this was discussed in 2005 and then we didn't request this change for whatever reason last year. I have no problem with allowing this flexibility as that's what the Flex position is for, but let me make sure STATS can still do this. I'll let you know soon.

I hope they can do it.

I don't get this at all.
I would put LD at flex because he was a late-game player AND probable or questionable or doubtful. Especially if I had his replacement at WR on the bench (playing late also)
It makes zero sense.
In your example. JJ would be at rb, because he played early and the next choice was wr.
Don't tell me you haven't figured that out GG, I know better. (you are working another angle)
In the slight chance you have two late game rbs,
(and a replacement at wr or te) put the rb most likely to go inactive at flex.
Just like everyone (including you) did last year.
All you have to do for your example is put your early game rb at rb.
(you know, like everyone worth their salt did last year?) If you have 2 late game rbs and their replacement at wr/te with a late game.
God forbid you have to use your brain for something.
Man up GG.

Man up GG. [/QUOTE]Ok, so how about if you have LT and Cadillac Williams and they both are questionable playing in the late games.
You put LT at your flex, and although he plays, Caddy is declared out. You don't have another RB to put in for Caddy, but you do have a WR.
What Gekko is trying to say is why can't we put LT in Caddy's spot, and put the WR in at the flex (something you COULD NOT do last year)?
Maybe his example wasn't the best, but I don't think there is an "angle" by Gekko here, he (and it appears many others) think this would be a good thing to have!

Flex is Flex. So it would be a good thing to be able to move players around. That's it nothing more to it.
Maybe Gordon Gekko example was a poor one.
But He has a great point, this change will only be a good one.

There's nothing wrong with my example. It's happened to people a lot more successful than 'Sound Advice'. Cheers!
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

Whether GG's example was good, bad or indifferent; the fact is the proposed change would enhance the NFFC experience and provide additional flexibility. Hopefully STATS will be able to implement it.
