Tom, i agree, cmon, Graham for 19, Travis henry for 7, Guys, and cheetsheet i understand the concept of supply and demand, however there is more to it. there are some anomolies (did i kill that spelling?) however the values are pretty consistent. Read the chapter on auction drafting in my upcoming book coming out this fall.. will give you my thinking and an advantage...lol.

Like you said, "Father Time" is the main thing which could hold him back, but he and Manning most likely still have that chemistry and I would think the safety might start rolling more towards Wayne from now on.

Of course this is my "the glass is half full" theory! :D BW, good thinking. However, the majority of the time the safety has been rolling to Wayne over the last 2 years. Atleast for the 8+ games I attend per year, they do. ;)

I'll let you name 15 RBs, then you let me dictate how the auction progresses, deal?

I've seen it before, like what it sounds like happened in this case, where WRs came out early and often.

To borrow a line from a movie I once saw...

"To be honest with you, in all of the excitement, I can't remember if I bid $40 bucks or $45. So the thing about RBs that you have to ask yourself is...Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?" :D

Nail on the head, UFFC.

We call out all the top WR and TE and QB before a single RB...and I could gaurantee no more than 6 or 7 go over 40.

It was an online auction.........they are ALWAYS different than the real deals IMO.

Every draft I've done on fantasyauctioneer, these type of things happen. Sure, deals happen in the live events, but nothing like I've ever seen online.

No way Graham even sniffs the teens in a real auction.

BTW, Billy, I wish I would've went higher on Calvin. He's one of my favs AND I didn't realize he was the last potential stud WR left.

:( He WAS the last potential stud, and I KNEW I would be getting in a bidding war with you for him! ;)

The last potential guy ALWAYS goes for more than he is supposed to, so I didn't mind paying a little more.

Had I not got him, my WR's would have been REALLY suspect!

~Lance Yep, yep, yep.

You can't have almost EVERY Top 20 WR go for OVER (some way over) what they were supposed to (and the top TE's too!) and expect people to have $$ left for RB's.

Gotta understand Weber that no matter how you slice it, you only get $200, and if you spend most on WR's and TE's the value is gonna be somewhere else (in this case the RB's).

Graham, Rudi, Parker, Edge all went for under $20!
