C'mon guys...ANSWER THIS!!

Post by GOD Loves You » Tue Oct 21, 2008 1:17 pm

Well, I knew I could count on at least 2 of you guys responding. Thanks.

This commish is on another planet and nothing can be done to change it.

I would say who this so-called expert is, but any publicity is good publicity...so I just cannot do that.

I'll never play in another league without payouts/prizes....it's not worth it.

Patrick,

This commish has the right to change his rules whenever he wants to. Just as You have the right to quit whenever you want to. Since he chose that route, I suggest you choose the same.

Unless these are close friends of yours, it's an easy call for me there. Each league takes too much of my time to deal with any of that. I'd be out. Right there and then.

I would ask the guy why the changes , maybe he mentioned to the majority of the players to make the change. If its not a big money league or even if it is the rule changes arent nothing big.Two more team'smake the playoff, will this affect the good team's.[not really] And the ir rule is the same for everyone ,not a big deal.I just dont think the rule changes are that big not to play, their really not much of a change. Now if he was adding a full point for running back or you ccan play two qb's then i would think different, but he's not really changing anything , just two more teams make the playoff. But like i said earlier i would ask why the small change.

Only changes that correct errors in a system (and maybe only ones that violate the spirit of the intended rule) should be instituted after the draft and during the season.

Otherwise, suggestions and ideas are discussion points for the following year to be voted on and entered into that years rules if passed.

Free or not does not matter to me. Integrity is key.

The commish overstepped his bounds twice here. Some form of penalty or public admonishment is due!

Post his/her email address and we will rectify this situation pretty quickly.

Get your own thread Gummi Worm!

Some of you guys might enjoy this, the commish recently mocked me due to my "non-expert" status......claiming I shouldn't have been invited into the "expert" league anyways.

What is an expert to you guys? The whole term is a big joke to me....in the mind of this commish, I believe you must have a website to be one. I informed him about David DiDonato in the NFBC...he recently went over $200,000 in winnings, without a website. I would rather be a "non-expert" like David, than an expert with a website.

Here's the definition of an expert from this "expert" commish.

If I were to define an expert off the top of my head, the simple definition of an fantasy football expert obviously starts off with someone who has a extended knowledge of the game. Then has some of these traits; has developed theories on play, has a formula or system for gauging players, has a winning track record, or at least writes about FF .

The final part is a track record of making weekly calls and some form of media to get it out to the public. You have none of that. I could rip your picks if you had any. So just because you know the game doesn't mean you are a fantasy expert. Everyone in that league is an expert and puts there reputation on the line every week to help others. You my friend do not.

The NFFC has some true FF experts and those playing here know it. I, myself, have learned so much from so many of you guys the past 5 years. I seriously learn something new every single season from all of the "non-experts" here.

I know most don't care about this thread, but if you could see the insane e-mails I have received from this commish, it would make you think the exchanges between Billy/SNAKE were love letters.

To be an "expert" you must be in Z-Men's book... ;)
