A very slow 2009 draft

Post by Sabretooth » Sat Mar 07, 2009 12:19 pm

I am going to be the first to put my whole team up
for comments. Fire away guys!

1 Calvin Johnson
2 Chris Johnson
3 Clinton Portis
4 Carson Palmer
5 Vincent Jackson-It was between him and Dallas
Clark for me. I think he is ready to take the
next step 1,200 and 9 tds is possible
6 Le'ron mcclain-I probably would have taken
benson if he were signed at the time. Either
way Mcclain gets the goalline touches and I
like that.
7 Donald Driver-this gives me a good wr trio. If
Driver does what he did last year I will be
pleased
8 Dustin Keller-the best TE on the board at the
time in my opinion. With coles gone
I think he steps up.

Overall I'm pretty pleased. The coles signing
helps carson I think. I am glad I waited on my
TE and got Driver instead. At this point I think
Palmer and mcclain are keys. Everyone else is
pretty dependable. I love the Johnson and Johnson boys at the top. I still need another QB
and T.O. just became trent edwards's new best friend.Maybe. If he doesn't choke trent first.

We are half way Chris - who is it going to be???

I think you made 4 solid picks last time. The only one the really concerns me is Palmer but even if he doesn't work out as a top QB this year you still have time to add depth at QB.

Yea I guess I will have to add another QB wont I.
Honestly I am not sure who it is gonna be this time around. I was hoping there would be a trade or something that would help me make my mind up, but no such luck so far.

Huge diffence between a 2nd round messup and a 8th rounder. :(
