2008 NFFC Classic Signup List

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Jan 08, 2008 10:38 am

Congratulations to the tag team of Ryan Welch and Jeremy Jurwitz of Galesburg, Illinois as they won the $100,000 grand prize in the NFFC's main event this year. Ryan and Jeremy were first-time participants in the NFFC who won Chicago League 3 and then got hot in Weeks 14-16 to win the grand prize. Congrats guys. This marks the second straight year our overall champion has come out of Chicago, after having our first two overall champs coming from Las Vegas.

While 2007 was our best year yet with 364 main event teams, there's no time to sit back and relax. It's time to plan for the 2008 event, which is less than 8 months away. We opened the signup page today (just click on the REGISTER link on the left-hand side of the NFFC home page) and are taking signups now. Remember, you can sign up for any NFFC league now and we won't hit your credit card until August 1st. I'll add each new signup to this thread as they come in, so check here to see who is officially signed up and ready to compete in each of our events. Here's the list to date:

greg i'll go online to sign up but put me down for 1350 auction in vegas, main event in vegas..going to vegas this year means im not going to vegas for Wcoff.. yep.. i may do atlantic city for wcoff, but im considering giving it up. 11 weeks just is too little for a heafty 1700 fee.

greg can i come up with a plan though for a end of season auction league tournament for all cities regardless of league they are in.. i have an idea and i think it would be fun.

Sounds good on all and I'll see ya in Vegas. Shoot me your idea on the auction league format. Thanks. And I'll see if I can take care of that 12-team fix somehow!! ;)

I'm in Greg, main event, Chicago. I'm determined to figure this 14 teamer out, and one of these days, I'll pick a better running back than Travis Henry.
