I'm not into auctions but I'll play just to keep the football juices flowing.

I think we need to hammer out a few things about Rookies before we start.

Can we nominate draft picks to bid on or do we have to wait until after the NFL draft to nominate Rookies or can Rookies be nominated even before the NFL Draft?

Nominating draft picks might be more strategic, but that opens up a bunch of other questions and needs some rules.

Being able to nominate Rookies before the NFL Draft might be the best combination of strategy and minimal rules needed.

i say we just keep it simple. either you can nominate rookies now or you have to wait until after the draft.

i would vote for after the draft, but i can deal with either.

I would prefer waiting to nominate them until after the draft.

Why would you nominate rookies before you knew what team they are on?

If I don't nominate him until after the NFL Draft and he is drafted by BAL or BUF, then he might go for (X - $2).

If he is drafted by PHI or SEA, he might go for (X + $10).

So, it becomes a little bit of strategy to decide if you want to nominate him before the NFL Draft or not and maybe save some money or lose some money.
