A slow auction
I not sure that a team can manage and or optimize their bids/roster while 14 players are on the board. There is plenty of time to take this one player at a time on shorter than one week intervals.

not even with the 2 minute cushion? i would think that would take care of it.

There was some talk in some of the prior posts about a 5 minute cushion as well. That would allow some time for you to go back and forth if you are interested in several of the 14 players posted that week.

how bout 3 minutes? 5 minutes could keep the bidding going for a long long time, conceivably.

3 minutes in fine with me. Just a matter of if it's a problem with anyone else.

Problem with one player at a time is we have about 364 players to select in 180 days. We are going to have to select multiple players at a time no matter what. Since this is going for about 6 mos., we might as well go weekly or close to that so that people don't miss much with vacations, work schedules, etc.

Ok, 1 round per week. However I think that in order to keep order I would cut off bids at a specific time. I would also establish the cutoff at a reasonable time for the east or west coast.(9pm eastern ,6pm pacific). I think that it is unreasonable to continue bids until a 3 minute time frame is breached. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you,

Follow Me That's fine with me - what time do you need it?
Wayne,
11 PM would work for me, but I think there were at least 2 others that were in the other draft that may need a time later than that.
Thank you,
Mark
Follow Me
We have already discussed setting the deadline to at least 11 PM to accommodate those of us that work 2nd Shift.
If it turns out that no one else needs the deadline to be that late, I can try to work with 10 PM.
I think 2 or 3 minutes between bids should be sufficent. I prefer 2 minutes.
I prefer to be able to nominate Rookies or Rookie Draft Picks before the NFL Draft, but if that is going to keep someone from playing, then holding off on Rookies until after the NFL Draft is OK by me.
It has been suggested that nominations have to be made by Wednesday. That is OK by me. Tuesday or Thursday would be OK, too.
