If the current bidding holds up, someone is going to end up with just one DEF!

I wanted 3 DEFs, but screwed up and will have to settle for just 2.

Good luck with the DEF bidding tonight and get ready for the K run. I already have my 3 Ks, so it should be fun to watch.

It's still possible to win with just one defense. It's only one position out of 9, right? If you have very good qbs, rbs, wrs, tes, and kickers, you're still going to have a great shot at winning this, even with only one defense.

Except maybe me winning.

Just to show one example, the #11 Team in DEF scoring in the $1300 Draft Champions last year scored 184 points. If you have just 1 DEF, and it is a middle of the road DEF, they will score 130-140 points.

So, you will be 50 points behind the 11th best team in DEF scoring!

If you end up with a lower tier DEF (20th or so), you will score only around 120 points and be around 60 points behind the 11th best team in DEF scoring.

Being 50 or 60 points behind any one team in a scoring category is tough. Being at least 50 or 60 points behind 11 teams is very, very tough.

When the difference is only a few dollars, I think it is well worth the investment.
