I noticed Dave Gerczak has 2 Prime time teams and the software has paired them both up with his Classic team. Which team is actually paired up with the Classic team for Combined Points leader purposes (I assume he doesn't get the best combination of any of his teams to compete for that prize) ... and ... can we get the software fixed so it doesn't show him twice?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

Seemed like a simple question. Both Tom and Greg are currently active on the message board???
So here is another question.
If I get 4 main event teams and 8 Prime time teams next year ... will you pay the $75K bonus to any of the 32 combination's that might win .... and are all 32 combination's eligible for the Combined prize as well?

Mike Mike, in baseball it was the optimal combination and haven't seen any rule otherwise here for this season.

Mike Sorry Mike, we're both on deadline with a baseball magazine. Must have missed this one.
Yes, he has both teams hooked up as does another owner in New York. He took two Primetime teams and both are hooked up to his Classic team. Under your scenario above, yes, we'd hook up those teams for you. Very few teams have multiple teams in either event, but when they do we hook them up with their teams for the Combined Standings.

Devils Advocate here...
Wouldn't this encourage team play?
Buying a piece of other poker players is rampant. The higher the stakes and the more players involved would lead to fantasy players doing the same to even out the odds a bit.
Say I planned to play in the main event, and 3 times in the online. Wouldn't it make more sense to form a contract with a top player to draft 2 times in his/her name for a percentage of the bonus/insured prize? ...or even just send them money to draft more teams with no limit? One good player could then have 2-3 chances at the main, and 20-30 chances at the lower entry online.
Just thinking out loud.
Something as "small" as this rule can change the entire game and also tarnish the prestige of both an individual championship as well as the lifetime leader board and such.
The almighty dollar, and getting every last red cent out of the fantasy addicts.

Yes ... That's why I didn't expect that answer.
As long as these prizes are extra ... it is a non-issue (An extra prize is always good). It could very easily be a money maker for the NFFC regardless of the dynamics it might cause with team play if it increases sign ups. It is only an issue if these prizes come out of our entry fee's. A gift is always good ... and how they give it is up to them IMHO.

Primetime/Classic Combined
Last year, I was hoping to have 100% ownership of each and every NFFC Classic and Primetime team. Everyone at the draft would be drafting teams for me -- it really wouldn't matter who they selected. In December, I would have received 75% of all my entry fees PLUS a $1 million dollar bonus for winning both the Classic and the Primetime.
