No, it wasn't part of my strategy plus I drafted fifth just like you did in the mock. Some sucker behind me took him and didn't jump on Jackson quick enough.

Hey Guys just curious if you would post your mock draft...also Gekko I'm afraid that Steven Jackson is going to explode the way you keep pumping him up...lol...I'll be the first one to give you props on the Jackson issue when it comes true...."Gekko told you so in July" ....

Ha! Faulk is a dog. His career could be over. Steven Jackson will win somebody 6 figures this year. He's now a 4th round selection (soon to be 3rd round). I like you Gecko, but you don't have the "cajones" to take Jackson in the 3rd round! I mean seriously, unless Faulk is OUT with an injury, how could you justify taking a BACKUP with a 3rd rounder when you need to fill SIX positions with 2 RB, 3 WR, and a "flex"? (not to mention a QB and a TE).

Since this is a 14 teamer and not a 12 teamer and you have to start 6 RB's and WR's (rather than a traditional 5), there are going to be some VERY weak teams at the "flex", and that is not even accounting for byes, injuries, etc.

This draft is going to be won in rounds 12-14, with someone picking up the right "sleeper", and even if Faulk was out for the year, I don't know if Jackson would even produce better than a 3rd rounder!

My guess is Gecko is an Oregon St. alum due to his "infatuation" with Steven Jackson!

If we want to talk about about handcuffs why not talk about McGahee? I think he could steal A LOT of carries even if Mularkey doesn't want to admit it!

Diesel, I'll ask Greg if he'll post the 8/16 mock draft this afternoon. Maybe he can get it from mockdraftcentral.

Diesel, do you have access to mockdraftcentral? There is an NFFC draft simulation Friday night and the last time I looked there were 10 openings left.
