Enough already! Good point and my apologies for that. Let's keep this discussion on topic. There's definitely another thread for the draft position debate.

Dante would be a top 10 pick as I still think you would have your rb picks but where would Mewelde Moore go? I drafted him in Draft Champions and was totally ignored when touting him in threads before the draft as my sleeper pick. Since it looks like he may keep the starting rb job in Minnesota even after Bennett and Smith come back, I sure hope you listened to me, Greg, when I told you to draft him.

If Your Draft Was Held Today Where Would Culpepper Go?
*** FRIDAY UPDATE *** RB Mewelde Moore (Min) may continue as the team's starting RB even when Michael Bennett is completely healthy.
"Production is production," OC Scott Linehan said. "You get an opportunity, you go produce. You've earned yourself more and more
opportunities. That's life." Of course that sounds like Linehan is saying that Moore will play as long as he is being productive. With
no production, will the opportunity evaporate as well? Clearly, Bennett has a different view on the situation: "Things happen, and that's Onterrio and Mewelde's job to come in and do something when the starter is out," Bennett said. "They're doing a great job. I'm happy
with the way they are developing. It makes our team that much better. But I want to come back."
This came from a PFW interview. May not mean anything but then again, what to do you think, Gordon?
And that's ignoring Michael Bennett entirely... Quentin Griffin was the man at one point, too...Didn't say that, Dyv, but let's look at the Viking rb circumstances at draft time. Michael Bennett was hurt and O. Smith was facing suspension. I ignored Michael Bennett in all of my drafts because he was already hurt and I don't draft hurt players. As for O. Smith, he should have been suspended the first four weeks, period. I don't know who Red McCombs had pictures of with what animal but for him to just so happen to be able to play until Bennett was due back Week 5 I'm sure isn't just coincidence. That left Moe Williams and Mewelde Moore and as I told Greg in here 3 months ago, Mewelde Moore made Patrick Ramsey and J.P. Losman look good at Tulane and he's proving that now. I picked him up for $9 before Week 2 in the GEKKO league but dropped him before Week 4 because of the above and am regretting it now.

If Your Draft Was Held Today Where Would Culpepper Go?
Tamu
I just saw an update on Draftsharks that support Gordons thoughts. I won't bother typing in the entire quote but the short version from Tice is:
No way can we keep Smith off the field when he comes off suspension. I wish it weren't so because Moore has been a great F/A acquisition for me. I think however that Smith is the better all around back.
If Tice goes out of his way to get Bennett reps for anything more than trade bait, then he's an even bigger idiot than I thought. Ever look at the Vikings record last year before and after Bennett took over as the starter? Coincidence? I don't think so. Whatever happened to team chemistry counting for something?

If the draft were held today and I have the first pick I'm taking Culpepper. I'll let everyone feed on RB's for the next 26 picks then I'm taking the best 2 WR's available. How many Holmes,Tomlinson,Green or Deuce owners are currently in the top 25? I will not attempt to support this strategy as I hope everyone disagrees with me next year as well
