I missed a bunch if posts prior to mine. I'm caught up now with the info. I will try and mock auction tomorrow, and I'll email and post here, saying whether I got in or not. I just got home at 9am, and I'm off to work again now, until 7am tomorrow. Once I get through this hell of a shift, hopefully I'll get some good news from ESPN when I try to use the link BWAZ provided.

It's a great set-up. Very smooth and easy to run. We didn't have any major problems for our magazine league. But definitely make sure everyone has accepted the invite and is set to go well before the auction starts. That's really the only hurdle to cross. Once that's done and once it begins, you'll find that it's a very smooth process.

I just did a mock auction draft...I suggest everyone keep their speakers on. The "going once, going twice, sold" will keep you on your toes. Even though it sounds like that guy that does every movie promo...

There wasn't a single glitch. Just know that there is a 25 second countdown for someone to choose a player, and then another 25 second countdown, once a player is brought forth. Then the bidding begins.

I'll log on at 8pm tonight and mock if anyone wants to check it out. For those that don't make it, I'll see you tomorrow.

You KNOW I'm taking 3rd place here. So who's going to be 1st and second?

Marc, that guy's voice is deeper than Harry Kalas's, God rest his soul. When you hear "GOING TWICE" you just laugh out loud. It's sooooooooo cool. :D

Do you think it's that guy with the bald head, that does all of the movie promos? I'm pretty sure it's him. He's like the new James Earl Jones of voice overs.

Greg or Tom,

When you guys did the Magazine Auction, who was the moderator (i.e in charge of rollbacks, etc.)?

I'm assuming it was one of you, and I was wondering how difficult it is to do it on the ESPN software (was there a moderator link/button, etc.)?

Thanks!

Billy
