i've been to the site and participated in a mock for a couple rounds. i've also been to our league homepage. i haven't seen the button or link that puts you in the real draft. OR does it appear one hour before the draft?

Greg or Tom,

When you guys did the Magazine Auction, who was the moderator (i.e in charge of rollbacks, etc.)?

I'm assuming it was one of you, and I was wondering how difficult it is to do it on the ESPN software (was there a moderator link/button, etc.)?

Thanks!

Billy Tom was the commissioner and he had to rollback a couple of times or stop the draft. It was very easy. If you need his cell phone number to discuss with him, just shoot me an e-mail or contact Tom via e-mail. At one point someone tried to type in $11 and he got the guy for $111 and Tom stopped it and made the change in a minute. We easily rolled back that player and started over.

The site is very user friendly once you're in. Just be careful when you bid +$1 at certain times because someone else could type in a much higher number than you expected, same thing that occurred on FA.com. Have fun all and let everyone know what you thought of the site.

Okay folks, give all of the NFFC members an update on how the pay auction league went last night. Would you recommend the site for more pay auction leagues? Was it time well spent? How did it compare to previous software? Will Diesel really be good enough to finish third in this league? :D Inquiring minds want to know.

The site was very nice. The only problem I had was that it was hard to tell which player was up for auction. I bought one player I didn't want because I thought somebody had nominated the player in my queue. That hurt but other than that the site is a drastic improvement over fantasy auctioneer.

There are a few teams I really like or ones that I would consider favorites.

Jim Wiseheart - Very well balanced team - well done! RB is the weak spot and he need an injury or for Deangelo to repeat last year and this is a very good team.

Mark Moyer - This team is the ultimate in balance. I really like how he locked up 3 entire backfields with starters and backups. Very well done with the QB's as well. The weakness is WR depth but it is strong everywhere else.

Jeff Clampitt - Very strong everywhere except WR depth. Should be a competitive team.

Billywaz - Great choices throughout! Billy is the master at this format. I love the RB4-6. Very strong team. A little suspect at TE but you have to be weak somewhere. This is very possibly the team to beat.

Bob Squad - I'm a little worried about RB depth and lack of backups. Very balanced team. TE could be the achilles heal.

There are some other decent teams as well but they might need an injury to someone's elses starter to be competitive. Trust in Bill needs somebody to step up at RB. Popo needs one of the TE's to have a decent year but could be a good team regardless. Diesel's stranglehold on 3rd probably ends here. :D Anything can happen and injuries always dictate who is at the top but those are just my opinions.

As to my team, I did a fairly poor job in this DC. I misclicked a couple of times. I didn't have a good feel for the money left in the auction and waited too long. Not a very good effort so I'll need some luck. Anyways, that's my thoughts. I did really enjoy the auction last night!
