As long as it doesn't conflict with the GEKKO III draft, I have no problem with it. We might even be able to come up with a playoff system at the end to determine the individual winner if total points doesn't suit the masses.

However, he left out the part where I DESTROYED him! I did let him off the hook, but if someone would have left me off the hook, I would STILL have paid them (again, a REAL man takes accountability for his actions Snake!) :D

For the umpteenth time, I didn't bet you, because you weren't man enough to back up your words about my magazine team. If you had done that, I WOULD have bet you total points in the NFFC. I have said that REPEATEDLY!!!!

If you can't be a man of your word about that, why would I want to make a DIFFERENT wager with you.

It is a "lose-lose" situation for me.

Now run along Snake, I think I hear the wife calling!

[/QUOTE]I'm most likely committed to the Fantasy Jungle the Wednesday before the start of the season, and as Scarecrow pointed out, that might be the night of Gekko III. Tuesday night (after the NFFC and before Week 1) would probably work better for myself (not sure about others), but that is just my opinion.

Anyhow, the way my team is performing so far, you guys might not want me back anyhow! ;)

Billy you're right - that team of yours needs to get on with it. Rick and I might have to come to Richmond and whip you into shape. :D

Now get out there and put up 150 for the home team. ;)

Putting the smack talk aside for one post...How do they ship Pizza? Is it frozen? Is it delivered as soon as it's made, and then you just re-heat it? I'm very curious about this.

Each member of the losing team sends $10 each to a representative from the winning team. Winning team gets together next year on Friday night before the main event. You don't really need to worry about this part but I'll tell you what we're going to do anyway. ;)
Most of us on team Chicago are in the auction league. We will order pizza to be delivered piping hot to us in the auction room.
Just make sure all of your guys pay up or the MB will be lit up all next season comparing you to other unruley characters. :D

I nominate Big Mike to handle the winnings for team Chicago as he is a local.

I think the plan is for the "losers" to send $10 each to either me (when NY wins) or Jeff (if somehow Chicago wins). The $70 fund will buy whatever pizza the winning group so desires. I assume we'll buy these on Friday night -- maybe we'll even share a victory slice with the people around us who didn't participate.

By the way, funny story about pizza. I was visiting a friend in "Chicagoland" a few years back and we decided to order a pizza for dinner. I called the local establishment and the conversation went something like this:

-----------

Me: "Hi, I'd like to order a large pie."

Pizza Guy: "What?"

Me: "I'd like to order a large pie."

Pizza Guy: "You want a pie?"

Me: "Yes, a large plain pie."

Pizza Guy: "An apple pie?"

Me: (pause) "Uh...no, a large CHEESE pizza pie"

Pizza Guy: "Oh, okay. 20 minutes. What's your address?"

------------

So that's how I learned that they don't refer to pizzas as "pies" in Chicago. I did know enough to get some "pop" with my pizza :D

Sounds great..I will definitely be in either the DraftChampions or Auction or both next year, so that should work out...Tom usually gets pizza from the Hotel for these events, but hopefully we can order it from a very good Pizza shop instead...Glenn, you're our Pizza guy, so pick a good place! I'm going to send an invite to Terry Glenn. Maybe he'll come by for some NY Pizza after he receives his MVP award...lol
