NY vs Chicago Grudge Match Update

Post by TamuScarecrow » Thu Nov 17, 2005 3:17 pm

Let's see, I put up 170+ with Palmer and Gates, I put up 170+ without Palmer and Gates, this is certainly not boding well for the NY'ers. They can't stop Scarecrow, they can only hope to contain him and it's not looking good. Hmmm, I can smell that pizza at Lou's now along with a 6-pack of Miller Lite. As my favorite announcer, Chuck Thompson, would say after a Brooks Robinson homer or a Mickey Mantle strikeout, "Ain't the beer cold".

Seem's pretty empty of NY'ers out here on the message board lately! Like a big empty void.

Hello ... hello ... ello ... llo ... lo ... o

To the NY'ers who are also Monty Python fans

"Run away or I will taunt you once again!"

Don't know much about Monty Python, but I did see The Holy Grail about 7 times about 10 years ago...

Don't worry UYT, "It's only a flesh wound!"

NY is on the comeback. Jamie Martin may be the next Joe Montana. (or the next Rick Mirer...lol)

But once the infection sets in, it becomes fatal. This usually takes about 3 weeks. :D

I'm not involved in this NY vs. Chicago thing but I LOVE Monty Python so I have some words of advice for both sides.....

Always look on the bright side of life...

All of you Python fans will know where this is from, and if not, shame on you!

Those movies are great, though I am not a big fan of the "traveling circus" show.

For anybody who likes wacky, intelligent, oddball humor..........Check out

And Now for Something Completely Different

LMAO ... for those who aren’t Python fans ... this was the line of the Black knight after he got his arm chopped off ... King Arthur "I cut off your arm!”... Black Knight "It's merely a flesh wound" still LMAO

Marc ... it's not quite an arm (yet) ... but I sure like being ahead more than being behind. :D

Let's see ... warped sense of humor ... great team name ... on message board frequently ... if your from NY or CHI ... you should see if there are openings in this league next year (although my guess is ... we will have 14 teams returning ... the NY'ers will all probably want a chance to get even).

[/QUOTE]I live in the Tampa area in FL but drafted in Chicago.

I thought about joining the Chicago bunch, but being a rookie and all, I figured I would let the big boys handle it.

I joined the Wednesday Mid-Season NFFC League 2 and am currently 4th in points....Hoping to make a run soon against some of the "big boys" in this league.

If there is an opening next year, I will definetely join but you must remember....The sunshine state's pizza is the best!

Of course we do have a TON of NY'ers down here, so maybe the Empire states is the best....

Ah, who am I kidding, Totinos 99cents pizza rocks!! (At least that is what my 8 yr old son thinks)
