NY vs Chicago Grudge Match Update

Diesel/Quahog, find out if everyone is coming back next year and if not, Snake is in since it's his feud with BWazz that started this league. Save your money, Snake, and be ready as it is looking like a Sept. 12, 19, or 26 draft date.

I'm in. Just keep in touch with me. I'll set those dates aside for the draft. I also have 1-3 NewYorkers for fill-ins if we need more.

Congratulations Team Chicago.

I'm in. Just keep in touch with me. I'll set those dates aside for the draft. I also have 1-3 NewYorkers for fill-ins if we need more.I have heard from you, QUA, and KofQ on the NY side and BWazz and Big Mike on the CHI side so I know of 6 so far who want in again next year but I have not heard from the rest. I'm going to get with Greg after the season but I need feedback on these options for those who are in:

1) One of these 3 dates: Sept 12, 19, or 26.
2) Number of weeks - 13, 14, or 15.
3) Draft order - random, alternating (1 team even #, other team odd #), or staggered (#1 pick Team A, #2 pick Team B, #3 pick Team B, #4 pick Team A, #5 pick Team A)
4) Payout - Currently top team wins $650, top 6 teams of winning team get their $100 back. Options are how many teams get their $100 back, 5, 6, or 7. Only other option would be to up the fee so if you want that, say so.
5) Individual title - currently high point total, other option would be a 4 team playoff depending on draft date.
6) Team Prize - Currently the losers send the winners pizza money for next year's draft but t-shirts for the winners paid for by the losers has been nominated as well. Vote on these two or propose something else to vote on.

If you know you're not coming back, either let us know on this thread or send a PM to me or Diesel. The smack talking is over so you won't be chastised if you don't want to or can't come back for NY/CHI Round 2. Also, I'm going to talk to Greg about a 3-city, 12 team challenge league, 4 from each city, so let me know if you're interested in that. Happy New Years to all and Diesel, you can now start the "Days to Draftfest 2006" countdown.

As it stands, I think everyone is coming back next year which would leave no openings if this is the case.

BTW - BWazz may not blow his own horn but I think he won $25,000.00 a few years ago by beating out 9000+ others in the CDM or USA Today contest.

Remember, you were one of the FIRST "invitees" and you cowardly declined. It is kind of like a boss offering a job, and the person declines, then they come back a few months later and want the job!

Don't get me wrong Snake, I would love to go against you, but if nobody "gets out", you are on the outside looking in.

And you have no one to blame but yourself! ;)

[/QUOTE]To answer your questions Rick;

1) I prefer it being September 12th, as the "one week jitters" are over, and we get more "bang for our buck!"

2) 15 Weeks (again, more "bang for our buck"!)

3) Random or alternating is fine (either way)

4) If it is $1,150 that is given away, I like $550 to the winner of the event. and the 6 best winners of the winning team getting $100. If the winner is also on the winning team, then EVERYONE gets paid, if the overall winner is from the other team, the top 5 from the winners get $100, and the bottom 2 get $50 each.

5) I like total points for 15 Weeks. Shows without question who had the best team.

6) I like pizza, but t-shirts would work as well.

*7) One thing that wasn't mentioned was to keep the 5 top teams scoring for each team, or not? I personally would like to keep it that way, as EACH team is going to have a few weak links (this year it was myself and KofQ).

I am of course in, just keep me updated!

Thanks, Billy. I think everyone wants to keep the main format of top 5 vs. top 5 as I haven't heard of anyone wanting to change that. The current giveaway is $1250.
