There are others I could see, but McGahee just doesn't fit the "blueprint" in my eyes.
So who's #6? Who cares! The #1 WR is probably more valuable with this pick - that is if you truely want to go against the masses snake.
I think Snake is a DIEHARD RB-RB guy in the first 2 rounds (just a guess). I agree with you though RC, on the fact that the #1 WR next year (S.Smith?) is definitely a candidate for the 6th spot!

I'm sure everyone that picked up Ahman Green in the late 2nd round, or even the 3rd round thought the same. (But McGahee isn't an injury risk. Green was.)

Keary Colbert didn't seem to be the WR they hoped...Delhomme had thrown what it seemed to be only Muhammad in 2005, and last year only to Smith, so defenses are going to find a way to stop that unless Carolina can get a WR or TE to compliment Smith's game.

My guess is that the Defenses start to figure out Delhomme more than S.Smith. But who knows? It's hard for me to see that NFL defenses can know that ONE guy is going to get 75% of the plays on offense, and not contain him. We'll see. Believe me, I'm not knocking Steve SMith at all. I had him in 6 or 7 of my leagues this past year...But I'm a bit of a sceptic when it comes to a situation like this. The Panthers need another guy to stretch it out a bit. Mangum is a good TD threat, but can't run good deep routes, and Colbert just doesn't seem to be there when they need him.

Snake, did I just see a list that had Keary Colbert and Michael Clayton ahead of Roy Williams and Larry Fitzgerald? If you are drinking some moonshine down there in Florida, I want some! The next time I head down that way, I will give you a call so we can drink that hooch together!
