Thanks Rick,

I think this just makes it more real and prevents us from letting Marc off the bet. I am sure I will be inclined to tell him not to worry about it when he owe's us money at the end of the year. This way I would actually need to send him the money back at the end of the year (and I am too lazy to do that). So it will be a real bet. We'll give you the money in Chicago, if Marc is still up for this. He can still walk away with no shame up to the point where he gets you the money as he might dicide on being in another league instead of this side bet (OK ... maybe a little shame :D )

Big Mike

You are planning to carry us again Rick ... Right?

Okay...I will call off the bet if both Big Mike and Darryl state that they'd rather not lose their entry fee AND $100 to ME...That's all I'm asking for and the bet will be off...Just a quick post on this thread that NewYork will win the 2006 event, and you guys would rather keep the money towards 2007 than give it to me...

Otherwise, Rick, I'll be sending you my $100 money order soon.

Bring it on!

Marc "I would rather not lose their entry fee AND $100 to Marc" ... but with that said ... unless we switch teams ... I am not sure how this could happen? Unless of course you make your check out for $200 and Rick takes a dive (like Rick's going to do that!)

Just laughing here in Peoria. You may as well send the check because I am way too Manly (or too stupid) to back out of this now. I guess we'll find out soon enough. Grunt Grunt Grunt.

I love the positive thinking, Diesel, but Chi-town winning is as sure a bet as Lawyer Ron in the Derby.

<<<-----Pounding my chest....And sending my check next month...

I wish I had a better year, or maybe it's good that I didn't have a better financial year, or I would have offered to make the bet with each player on the ChiTown side. Man, I am itching for DraftDay!

Chitown winning is about as sure as Bush getting an award for "Best President" of the U.S.A... :D

Now, now, go easy on George. He can't help it if the Dems won't meet him half way. They have done absolutely nothing to improve the quality of life in this country. Food for thought: how many nice-paying union jobs would 20 new refineries and 20 new oil-drilling expeditions create? We'll never know with the bunch that exist on both sides of the isle in D.C. I'd call out all of them to meet me in the congressional gym with boxing gloves but I doubt there'd be many takers as they're all a bunch of wimps. The Dems are a bunch of Euro-elitist cry babies and the Repubs are a bunch of wimps with no back bones. Talk about not getting our money's worth.

Rick, I hate any label. Dems or Repubs...To me, they all lie through their teeth to get elected and then sit on their hands.

When you run for President, I promise you've got my vote. For now, I'll start with trustng you to send me my winnings... :D
