NY vs Chicago Grudge Match Update

Once again..another great time drafting with the boys. NY..you know I love you but after tonight my guess is you'll be 0-2 after week 16.

The league MB should once again take top honors. :D

No question tonight's draft was a classic and it's sad when a team reverts back to a strategy that got them in a whole lot of trouble last year. Diesel drafting Marc Bulger again this year after last year's debacle was once again the turning point in this draft. Entertainment was provided by SNAKE, who tried several times to convince us that #305 wasn't a bad number. It won't even be close by Week 13, gentlemen. We are saving you stamps this year as we will collect in person next year. :D

In any event, nice work by Team NY. Also, kudos to Team Chicago for pulling the REAL surprise of the draft by taking Antwaan Randle El at pick 7.07

Can't count on all of the ChiTown boys to make a NYC appearance. Not sure the Tomatoes care for that visit - although we do like the FF fish that swim in that Hudson out there.

Big Mike and I have considered a LV go if we wanted to spend that cash. $250-300+/night plus the way we eat ---- OUCH. The pizza you're buying will only go so far - especially NY style which will require a whole pie for me and a whole pie for Mike. Nothings been settled for next year with the UYT - but NYC is not the way I'm leaning - and Mike's a bit scared of big cities ;)

Our foward drafting Chicago brothers are going to carry us in the three city ... and we will carry our boys in the Grudge. No worries here! I love this Tomato team yet! Drafting out of the 3 spot seems like cheating.

How about next year we do this draft in-person? We could even make it an auction. We're probably going to be taking your money in that event too so I'm not sure you want to go there yet. Let's see how this season plays out as we could be looking at either Chi-town domination or the rubber season. And speaking of rubber, kudos to the guy who put the 3 rubber snakes in Billy's chair at the main event draft that created a few grins. :D :D

I sure would like to meet the guys in NY. A live auction draft in NY would be great ... actually the NY pizza we would eat would also be my favorite kind of pizza ... the FREE kind :D . Vegas would be sweet too. First things first ... we need to win some leagues ... then plan a trip

Welps early picks were good (very good in fact). But it's like he was using old debth charts to draft his WR's. He has three 3rd WR's and one 4th WR. It could cost him 100 points if he doesn't pick the "right" guy each week ... then again ... maybe one of his WR's shacks out to be a TWO ... or gets traded.

Who knows though ... I remember you laughing at our first three picks in the Mag one league ... Tiki,Parker,Dunn ... so things change?
