I don't post on these grudge match threads, but since you guys draft online anyway, why don't you keep the same four-somes and five-somes and seven-somes that you had from this season and try to defend/battle again as units this year. It hardly seems to matter where you draft in the main event this year. Your teams seem set, so battle on again in Year 2 for pizza, etc. That's what I'd do.

There, that's my first post on this 57-page thread. I won't be returning anytime soon! Carry on! :D

I will defer to Diesel as I am withdrawing from the Grudge Match due to the fact my four-year plan in the NFFC has me winning the Main Event this year so I can not afford the mass distractions I had this past year.

I am not withdrawing because of the change of scenery as since I have drafted 2 years in Chicago, I could play for Team Chicago. That is why it should be ok for Snake to compete for Team NY is ok since he has drafted there and competed for them last year.

Snake, if the GrudgeMatch III happens, you're a part of it. I know Liquid Madness would want back in, but this should be a league where the spot is yours until you drop it, or the team drops you...lol...We all regret Midas Mike(el diablo) not playing too this past season, but he had become M.I.A. for quite awhile when we got 2006's grudgematch going.

You never know for sure that everyone will be back. I recruited You and Sack this past season. If someone drops out again, I will fish for another SHARK to take down the once mighty CHITOWN. NY Pizza is on the menu for the next few years.

Next year, the team captain from each city should collect the pizza money PRIOR to the draft (I suggest $30/pp). The losing captain will send their money ($210 if it's $30/pp) to the winning captain in December.

This way, we can avoid Uncle Sam's portion of the winnings as well as the run-around we had in Year One..

Diesel, you may want to check with someone but unless you won $600 on a particular event you won't be getting a 1099 from the NFFC so it will not be taxable.
