Guys, Tom and I spoke via emails today. Tom agrees to give all seven members of Team NY a $10.00 NFFC credit for 2008. That settles that. I hope everyone is cool with this. It was the easiest solution to a very small problem.
I have to head out. I'll check the boards late tonight or tomorrow.

There are no "proceeds" here, not monetary proceeds anyway.
As a compromise, how about we FedEx you a couple of slices?

NY vs Chicago Grudge Match Update
Hey guys...just a quick comment since I was responsible for collecting Chicago's pizza $$$ last year. (BTW..Mike Davis..a.k.a. Liquid Madness...never did pay up) which is why it was nice this year to have funds go through Krause.
Anyway....I started this league so I know how it ran originally. The pizza $$$$ was to be collected by an individual of the winning team who knew they would be in the winning city the following year to use those funds at the pizza joint of preference after the auction.
It was always about pizza $$$... not prize $$$.
That's really the end of the story and I fear if it consumes too many pages on this thread TK may not want the headache of it next year.
Rick sort of took over this league in the off season so I didn't really get too involved in the rules/invites etc.
Next season I will be more involved in putting this together so in an effort to help me out a little...can I get a sound off from those who KNOW they'll be participating in the league next season.
I'd like to keep it at 100% returning owners if possible. Also...since it is likely that all owners will not be drafting from the same location in 2008 I'd like to get a volunteer from each city that actually lives there to arrange frozen pizza delivery to each member of the winning team.
It would be a little more like the bets that occur between mayors and the like between their respective home teams. Winning team samples wares from losing teams city. Tossing in $5 per player ($70) would compensate the losing members time and postage.
IMO this will ensure the spirit of the competition remains as it was at its inception.

* A change of topic here...
I received the check from Tamu for my wager with Ugly Tomatoes and BubbasHouse.
Thanks Tamu for holding our bets.
Thanks to Ugly Tomatoes and BubbasHouse. The bet made the season even more interesting.
I'd consider doing the bet again, but I first have to see the entire league's team owners before making this bet again. There's too much of a change-over in signups each year to just let a bet ride here.
Thanks again guys.

Couldn't lose to a nicer NY guy. This was a Bubba bet that I was just lucky to be let in on
We'll talk about next year after the teams are formed
Thanks Rick for taking care of that for us. I guess lunch and drinks last year at the draft for you and Patrick will need to cover us for holding this since your hiding in Florida in 2007
