Besides...you can't beat Southern hospitality. I particularly love Georgia...night life specifically, if you get my drift.

To bring back the debate on the best WR, I would go even further. If I had the choice of 1 guy in the NFL to have the ball at the 20 yardline with no time left and looking towards the endzone to win the game, it would be T.O...The problem is he has to be a happy, paid T.O.... IF he's not happy AND paid and doing whatever he wants, he's nothing more than a distraction, and he's not that guy. "That guy" only shows up when he feels it's the right time.
The unfortunate thing is there will be a team to pay him whatever he's willing to accept next season and put up with his crap all over again.

As for T.O., Diesel, there are too many other alternatives that don't have the baggage that comes with T.O. Wouldn't it be nice to see him go back to SF with nobody to throw to him???

I'd like to see him have the Balls to go to SF or Baltimore. Derrick Mason didn't punk out at the opportunity to help Baltimore.

Owens wants to go to Atlanta and they WILL pay him. Not what he is getting now but he could be offered an incentive laden contract with about a $4,000,000 base with the incentives being worth double that.
If that happens Vick could go in the first round next year.

If that happens Vick could go in the first round next year. Yeah but Atlanta doesnt want him. I cant recall the exact source but somewhere, the Falcons owner said he would never take him when he got suspended during camp, and I am pretty sure that Old Man Mora would have a coronary if Junior took him on his team. Of course, if they get knocked out of the playoffs again due to a lack of a quality WR, they might change their tune.
A lot of these coaches are pretty tight and then some front office guys are so straight laced and are all friends, that they would never take a chance on him and risk their image, but there will be someone that does.
Lets look at the teams that ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT, either by having gone on record already, or fit the criteria that they wouldnt take him:
DETROIT- Not under the Steve Mariucci era
MINNESOTA- Lots of people are gone up there after this year
GREEN BAY- Front office wouldnt take him
NY GIANTS- Tom Coughlin/ front office
ATLANTA- Have already said no
SF- Obviously not going through that ordeal again
ARIZONA- Contrary to many who think someone like a Dennis Green might take TO in, 1) TO hates Denny Green for a comment he made about TO a few years ago at the Pro Bowl. 2) Contrary to what many think, Denny Green is actually a control freak, and 3) Fitzy and Boldin are already there
CINCY- The Brown family says no thanks, plus they have good wr's already
PITTSBURGH- The Rooneys wouldnt even consider it
BALTIMORE- Not after what he did to them
CLEVELAND- Young team, young coach, wouldnt want the distraction.
INDY- As much as Id like to see Peyton Mannings face the first time TO blasted him, it would never happen.
BUFFALO- Ralph Wilson, see the Browns and Rooneys
KANSAS CITY- Front office would never take him
SAN DIEGO- Marty would have a stroke
So that then leaves these teams that probably wouldn't, but you couldn't rule them out for sure:
WASHINGTON- Daniel Snyder probably would, Joe Gibbs would not. Because of all that Snyder has done, you can't rule it out, but since the Skins are winning and are headed upwards, that will probably keep Snyder in check to listen to Gibbs.
CHICAGO- Young team, pretty conservative front office. Doubtful they would but after making the playoffs this year, will realize they are a big player away from going further. Curiosity kills the cat, but I dont think it kills the bear.
CAROLINA- They have a pretty tough coach and a very classy owner who is a former player from the old school. I dont think they take the chance.
ST LOUIS- You cant rule them out because who knows who the new coach will be, but its doubtful because of all the talent they already have at WR.
TENNESSEE- Its doubtful Jeff Fisher would go down this road, but he isnt used to losing either. To is from Tennessee, but I still think the Titans pass.
HOUSTON- If the current regime stays in tact, I dont think so. Its probably for certain Dom Capers is gone, but GM Charlie Casserly would also need to get fired to sign off on TO, so they are probably out.
So that takes us to the teams that might take him. I think the team that signs him, and one of them will, will:
1) Have to have a coach with enough power to say I want him to the front office and be able to get what he asks for.
2) Have to have a coach with a huge ego, one that thinks he can make him a productive player without problems.
The best chances are and in no particular order:
1) DALLAS- Bill Parcells proves that he would take somebody that nobody else wanted with Keyshawn. Jerry Jones wants to win. The egos fit here.
2) TAMPA BAY- Jon Gruden has already shown Keyshawn the door so he's not afraid to do it again and has already dealt with it, so his ego is triple the size of his head. GM Bruce Allen is used to dealing with chaos in Oakland since that is where he came from.
3) NEW ORLEANS- Who the hell knows. Not likely as they have Stallworth and Horn, but their owner looks like he is ready to start acting crazy.
4) SEATTLE- Mike Holmgren fits the criteria above, and Seattle could use a playmaker.
5) MIAMI- Nick Saban is new, and wanted to keep Ricky Williams. Drew Rosenhaus is permanently parked up the Dolphins asses, spends a lot of time with the Dolphins so there is a chance here.
6) NEW ENGLAND- At first glance, you would say no way in hell, this is the ultimate team, however if they dont make it back to the Super Bowl this year, they are the type of team with a coach and a team that could and would police him, or they would cut him, so he would know not to act up. Hell even the fans and sportswriters would police him if he f$*&% with their beloved Patriots.
7) JACKSONVILLE- If ever a good team needed a playmaker, this would be it. They have a younger coach, and an owner who is a little loose and wants to win bad.
8) DENVER- Pretty veteran squad, and a coach with the largest EGO in the world. Got a taste of the good life with 2 Super Bowls, and might be ready to strike a deal with the devil to get another.
9) OAKLAND- The odds on public favorite. Salary cap restrictions would have said no way, but now that TO has talked himself out of big money, you never know. If this happens, Norv Turner will officially have to put a fenced in cage around his seat for every team flight to protect himself with that crew, although I wouldnt be shocked to see Mike Martz coaching the Raiders next year.

T.O. Suspended.....
Here's the lowdown on the T.O. suspension...
1-He will be suspended for 4 games(the max unpaid suspension he can be given).
2-Then the Eagles will keep him on the roster and de-activate him for the rest of the season so he can't play anywhere else.
3-Then here's the "nuisance" clause that the Eagles will make sure they enforce...***The contract states that if T.O. is suspended for anymore than 1 game in the 2005 season, 1.7 million dollars will be returned from his signing bonus.***
Poor T.O., you should have learned how to get alone with others when you were in grade school.
There is also ZERO chance T.O. will be traded because any team getting him would inherit T.O.'s contract that he already has said he's not happy with.
