I don't doubt what your saying for a second. He needs to come up with and gain general acceptance of it to even have a shot at doing something like this. I think it's funny that he thought he might find more support over here. Yea ... we think the best 100 players are all in the WCOFF. I was shooting for the top 1000 anyway :D

How did your draft go? What did you think of the whole process.

And after playing in 14 team leagues, find the 12 teamers too easy. This might be one of the funniest lines I've ever seen. You want people to believe that you wouldn't enter an event that is EASIER to win 200k because you'd rather be in a harder contest? Because of an events fee? One that in many cases is waived? That seems like a no-brainer, even with the events fee.
Glad you find my "principles" humorous. The 14 team leagues IS the main reason why I joined the NFFC instead of the *****. This is the honest truth, take it or leave it. I wanted to compete in a contest that involved more skill than luck. My 9 year old son could draft a decent team in a 12 teamer and he doesn't watch football at all.

Umm, shall I go on.
I am not a fan of.........

messages being deleted on MB's

MB censorship

events fees

contests barring people from returning

only one person drafting at the table, I would never have a co-manager myself, but if I did, would expect them to be able to draft with me. I know the contest has a lot of people so it would be harder to add in another seat for each person, but still....

no credit card payments accepted, yes I am aware companies have to pay for each transaction, but this is another "red flag" in my book.

people who run away from a challenge, or take the challenge and change it to their liking.

overly-arrogant people.

Need some more reasons why I didn't join the easier contest.

Hey Greg,

Please generate a list as suggested by Derek to solve this, at least from the NFFC side.
Show us the Top 10 Lifetime Earnings from NFFC non-satellite events. Those are the 10 owners I would consider experts.

UYT as I stated before posting that list on this board makes little sense BUT that doesn't mean the players in the WCOFF are inferior to NFFC players.

God,the results of crossovers are too small to draw any opinions. The Drafters on Sat did not impress me as being lights out better then WCOFF drafters. (Priest in the 11th at next table) By the way results are a 2 way street. Some of the people that have done well in NFFC hold no WCOFF title. You know this stuff NEVER comes up on any board but this one.

GLY you can have your co-manager at the WCOFF draft table.

UYT, the draft went very well. It was well run and I really liked being able to drive there, draft, and drive home. Next year I may spend a little more time hanging around, but for this year that wasn't an option. Being a mere 12-teamer I needed the extra time to study for this weekend. Overall, very nice.

GLY, so now a 12 team league is more luck? Seems to me the real luck in any of these contests is league palcement. Still, if you are really that good at 14 teams, the luck factor should be greatly REDUCED in a 12 team league for you, shouldn't it?

And please, get your facts straight. Co-managers have always been allowed in *****.
Well, my co-manager sits right next to me and has for 4 years.

My mistake then. From reading the comments of the winner from last year, he stated the hardest decision was deciding who was to sit at the table during the draft. He had 2 co-managers and said only one could be at the table. Let's lynch him!

And yes, you can seriously be a moron and still draft a decent team in a 12 teamer. The same can't be said in the 14 team format.

Ok I am done, really don't give a hoot what's going on over there. The masses have shown they are afraid of the 14 team format and prefer the 12 team one.

Again, my mistake for taking last years winner quotes as truth.

And if someone didn't shy away from the challenge proposed earlier this summer, this whole NFFC vs ***** 14 teams vs. 12 teams could've been settled once and for all. But like I said, some people like to take an idea and change it to their liking and then take credit for it.

Wish all well this season in whatever contest they are competing.
