last year my top 5 draft picks were P.Holmes/M.Harrison/J.Walker/A.Crumpler/C.Benson... I started out 0-2, lost J.Walker during wk 1 and Holmes week 8 or so. I won 10 or my next 11 games, and the week 13 game with a combined -.02 pts from my rb's. 8 teams had more points than me,yet I had the best record. RIDICULOUS luck..
always keep plugging

5 weeks left,

I would be a tad uneasy if I were more than 100 points behind. Averaging 20 points more than someone you are chasing each week could be doable. All it takes is one of those 200+ games to make your competitors pucker and I hope to post one this week.

... The 1st lace team has 1052 and I have 888.25 ______ Now the 4th place team has 1000, Greg I forgot whether or not there is a play off in this league, do the top 4 scores play-off the last 3 weeks, or is it just a run to the finish with the top score taking it..?

14. League Structure: Each league will consist of 14 teams competing in a head-to-head format for the league championship. The team with the best won-loss record in each league plus the team with the highest point total (second highest point total if the team with the best won-loss record also has that) advance to the three-week playoffs. Any team that finishes in the top 10 percent of the total number of teams that didn't finish first or second in their league will also advance to the playoffs as a wild card team. So if the NFFC finishes with 350 teams in 2005, the top 35 teams in total points will be guaranteed a playoff spot in the Championship Round. Teams will carry their average weekly score into the playoffs and then accumulate points to that total over the last three weeks of the regular season to determine the overall NFFC champion. Those teams which did not advance to the playoffs will carry their average weekly total from Weeks 1-13 into a consolation round playoff and add their weekly totals during Weeks 14-16 to determine the consolation round champion.

17. Prize Breakdown:

National Fantasy Football Championship = $100,000, PLUS a crystal National Fantasy Football Championship trophy.

Third Place = $7,500
Fourth Place = $2,500

Seventh Place = $1,250 or free entry in 2007 NFFC
Eighth Place = $1,250 or free entry in 2007 NFFC

Each (25-32) League Champion (won/loss record) = $5,000
Each (25-32) League 2nd place finisher (total points, not including league champ) = $2,500
Each (25-32) League 3rd place finisher (total points, not including league champ) = $500

Consolation Round Runnerup: $1,500
Consolation Round Third Place: free entry in 2007 NFFC
