Considering only a $1000 difference in first place...(only $700 more than the investment)...I'd much rather battle 23 other teams for $4000, than an additional 24 more teams (48) for that "$700" more!

It would only be 42 total teams, so you would only have to beat 14 more to get the extra grand.

I still think I like the 28 ratio much more. Another team with LT, LJ, SJ, etc to worry about for $700!

5000 - 4000 = 700

Although I do get your point Lance and certainly wouldn't be opposed to 6-3-1.5 and dropping 4th.

sorry i had to schedule after the main event, but i didn't want the results flying around before NFFC weekend. Yep, I'm in Italy then. I won't know for sure about a solid internet connection until I get over there. Kinda risky to commit myself at this point (in other words it would SUCK bigtime if I got there and couldn't get a connection!). And Garret, who is drafting my NFFC team, works nights, so doing this for me would be a no-go.

PRIZES
28 teams @ $300/team
1st $4000. Ya boy!!!!
2nd $2000
3rd $1000

42 teams @ $300/team
1st $5000 Ya boy!!!
2nd $3000
3rd $1500
4th $1000

I know you are trying to be fair and nice, but something sticks out as wierd.

When adding 14 more tough teams to the mix (42) the prize structure rewards things funny.

1st gets an additional $1000 (should be more)
2nd gets an additional $1000
3rd gets an additional $500 (???)
4th gets an additional $1000 (???)

It's your baby...I just thought I'd comment. (It just seems like a bad incentive to add a new league to worry about when the prizes reward like that...I'd put all of that 4th place money into 1st...$6,000 Ya Boy! Nobody remembers 2nd place...let alone 4th!)
