DAMN...I wish we could draft this earlier!!! :D :D :D

I've done a DC here and a DM there, and I think there's an advantage to knowing your stuff here.

I don't think we even ran out of DEF and K there.

sorry for my tardiness in announcing the next signup....George Kleeman has returned for the Super Satellite. George did very well last year, and EVERYONE appreciated his weekly point toal updates. Thanks George and glad to have you back.

GG...I absolutely agree with this and I'm very surprised you don't. Usually you are a logical thinker and this makes perfect sense.

You said 4th place wouldn't be less than 1K but gave no explaination... which is unusual for you.

Personally I hate the 4th place prize. 6...3...and 1.5 is more consistant with the way the prize is structured for 28 teams.

If you have to give a 4th place prize at least consider making it no more than getting your entry ($300) back. I hate leagues that reward losers. If you can't finish top 3 you don't deserve any $$$$ IMO. we are taking about the 4th place team out of 42, not 14. usually there are 3 payout per 14 team league. with 3 leagues (42 teams), usually there would be 9 teams getting paid. i've reduced it to 4. i don't understand what the issue is.

as for no payments below $1,000, why do it? most of us drop $500 in a couple nights out on the town. $500 doesn't do anything for me.

anybody else have thoughts on the payout schedules. i'll listen.
[/QUOTE]Has there been any resolve to this? My thoughts are the same.....if you absolutely have to pay 4th place then don't take it all from the winner.

With 28 teams the payouts average per 14 teams:

1st $2000
2nd $1000
3rd $500

Going to 42 teams the payouts average per 14 teams:

1st $ 1666.66
2nd $1000
3rd $500

4th... $1000 (in 42 team format only)

I don't want to play against more owners for a lesser % than 2nd and 3rd place get.

Take the same % away from each payout if you have to pay 4th place....not all of it from 1st.

I know we are about 10 signups from a full two leagues, but has there been any resolve as to what time this will be (due to the conflicts with the Snake Classic)?

The closer to the season starting ...the less talent evaluation comes into play.

Having the Super early like last year was much better. You can give away a little...and show who's best...without giving away everything like you would as late as this one is planned.

Everyone needs to see damn near the entire pre-season to draft in this side challenge? Too bad.

I like having more "gut/instinct" involved than the cookie cutter stuff once everyone knows everything they can.

Also allows for no discussion pre-main event.
