I've decided to honor my previous commitment to the snake classic. I'd love to be in the SS but I'd rather keep my word. If the draft day or time changes then I'll jump back in here as long as we address the payment for 4th place if there are 42 teams.

GG

If details become "concrete".....I will join. 28 teams, pay to 3rd (unless 42 - pay to 4th), Sept 4th (or is it 5th) draft, $300, etc. etc. etc.

my apologies on this one folks. unfortunately, i need to make a firm committment NOW on the remaining fantasy league(s) i'm going to join this year.

some of the things i considered with this league:
(1) snake league already scheduled for tuesday, sept 4
(2) no signups in a while
(3) fantasyjungle drafts are scheduled for sept 3 and sept 5
(4) my fantasy football funds are not infinite
(5) some people want the prize schedule changed (which i don't agree with)

with a good deal of sadness, i need to remove my name from this league. it was an outstanding event last year and i had a lot of fun.

if someone wants to take the reigns on this league, by all means, please do so.
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

Remove me as well if that's the case.

Maybe next year we can do this early, GG...like late June, early July...to see who can forecast the best. Just a thought. (A higher stakes DC before all the information is set in stone.)

This league was a lot of fun last year and I hate to see it die. Maybe with the combination of a date change, a little pimping, and more people on the boards at this time of the year and we can make this thing fly. Thoughts anyone?

Just started looking at FF today ... am interested in this draft. I might be able to find one more team for it. A date move is OK too.

Would Saturday the 25th at either 6 or 7PM EST work for everyone? This would eliminate the conflict with the King Reptile and be late enough to avoid conflicts with the Sup Sat in the "other" contest.

Crazy thought, but I bet if we just made this winner take all for $7000 (28 teams) or $10,500 for 42 we could fill it up in a hurry. Who wouldn't put down $300 for a shot at 10K with those odds?
